Before taking up PI overseas services, I heard horror stories, and to recall one where a person paid Rs. 60 thousand, faced difficulties, then opted for a refund and waited months to recover only 35 thousand out of the 60, only through effective and endless follow-ups. Then there is another guy who warns of their classic bait-and-switch, where you pay half the fee upfront, and if you fail the interviews that they set up themselves, you are treated in return with radio silence when it’’s time to refund. On forums like Reddit, plenty echo the same vibe: “If someone asks for money to get you a job, it’’s a scam.” So yes, I’’d say proceed cautiously, document everything, and don’’t get too confident and write big cheques upfront.
