Ive been using this IFB 1.5 Ton 3 Star Eco Inverter AC for 2.5 years, with usage of just 34 hours a day, and honestly, I regret buying it.
The remote hangs almost dailyit just stops responding and I have to press the power button again to restart it, even with fresh batteries. This is a recurring problem, not a one-time issue.
The indoor PCB failed right after warrantydespite light usage. The repair cost is too high, and its not expected from a brand like IFB.
Outdoor unit started making loud noises after just 1.5 yearsno reason, no damage.
Cooling performance has dropped, and to make it worse, electricity bills have gone up. For an eco inverter, this is completely opposite of what was promised.
Internal parts like PCB, sensors, and capacitors seem cheap and unreliable.
IFBs service is slow, expensive, and they charge heavily even for basic visits or reinstallation.
👉 I dont think this is just a faulty unitthis seems like a company-wide issue with poor product quality and bad service. IFB needs to seriously improve their engineering and customer care.
Not recommended at all. Total waste of money and peace of mind.
