PEC university of technology which formerly known as punjab engineering college chandigarh . The univerity tag it got in 2012 after 3 and half years it will be in the race of making IIT by chandigarh admistration but after that it's performance go down and down it finely out to the race of making IIT. back to back passing years it's ranking goes down and down last year it's ranking is 37 all india . but now at present it's ranking is 85 . which is quite unacceptable because of it's fallen teaching skills and lack of experienced professors.
