Sony a7 III Full-Frame Mirrorless Interchangeable-Lens Camera

After a long debate with myself I decided to move from canon full frame cameras to a mirrorless system. I looked all the options and took advice from industry experts as well as other photographers.

I love sony. Me and my friend use this dslr for photography amd photoshop. Sony a7 digital slr has high zooming system and its clearly shoots anywhere, anywhere neutral environments whit vary good quality pictures. It's pictures quality its ulta HD. You in high zoom in pictures but not Faded pictures. Night mood quality is awesome and its flash light high power, you no need any extra light at night. Its camera settings is easy, anyone can use thus dslr. Ring time it's shutter speed is vary high. You can use long time its battery backup is vary good and charging speed is high. If u can want this dslr so u can do this. But it's price is high but its long lasting quality. Thank you.

When Sony's launches A7 3 in 2018, I got one for myself and still in 2020 it really worth it.

It has all features that one should except so let's dig into it setp by step

First build quality it has magnesium built which feels very rigid in hands and it has well designed grip which made for peoples who has medium size hands.

Buttons layout is well placed it has 3 dials for mode, exposure, one ISO and Shutter Speed. Also it has 3 customization buttons labeled as c1, c2 and c3 those you can programmed accordingly.

Now let's talk about picture quality and videos

Sony puts its own 24.2P 35mm Full-Frame CMOS sensor with back illumination design. With Sony E-mount lenses which allows wide ranges of lenses from Sony own's GM series or from sigma.

It shoots JPEG and Sony RAW which are 24MP stills with Sony's grates color science. Basically I don't use it for stills that much.

Now in video department, it can record 4k 30fps /24fps and it has one of the best 4k in the market as it shoots 6k internally and downscale to 4k. It can shoot 1080p 24/30/60fps and my own favorite 120fps at 1080p and it has lot of picture profiles options like S-Log2, S-Log3, HLG and HLG1-3 for high dynamic range.

Let's talk about auto focus Sony has one of the best auto focus system in market it so reliable that I will put it on continuous AF and it do its things it implements Eye AF with Face AF that's with object AF .

it has 693 AF phase detection AF points and 425 contrast detection points.

It has 100-51200 ISO for Stills and it can expand up to 204800.

For movie 100-51200 and which can expand up to 102400.

It can shoots grate footage up to 6400 in my testing but above

that things start getting grainy and camera adds smoothing to footage.

It has shutter speed of 1/8000 of sec on high end and has bulb mode for astrophotography

It also has EVF which I don't use much as I use my A7 III for videos most of time but it has very good touch screen which has good brightness levels to see in direct sunlight as well. And it is flip up screen and has hot shoe mount as well.

It has decent built in microphone which is stereo and has support for wifi, blutooth and nfc to control it via imaging edge app.

It has Mini HDMI port for external monitor like atomos, microphone jack for external mic input and usb type c 3.1 gen port.

Battery life on this camera is decent but my suggestion is to use battery grip on this. and it don't has over heating issue but it tend to get warm up in bright sunny day

This is best camera from Sony if you into professional photography or cinematography.

The camera of sony a7 is really amazing. This camera gives a really mirror finished like picture. The quality of pivture is very nice to see. It has a hogh pixel value which makes every picture looking bright and clearlly. It is true value of money. It has good bettery performance also.

My brother bought this sony camera almost 6 month ago I used this camera for 1 month and I experienced that this is a value for money product which provides almost all features that a camera need to have. it's a a full frame mirrorless camera. It's not most cheap product but not a most expensive. its price almost 120000.

Sony A7 3 is a a valuable product which provides good picture quality and also good video quality. in this camera it's have 24 megapixel sensor which provides you a good picture and video quality. It's shutter speed is also okay. I took some pictures and videos by this camera on every fps and shutter speed I think ok it's work properly. Lens quality is amazing and resolution given by this camera is good for our eyes.

This camera have some cons also. its touch screen is not fully functional and can't move on 180 degree. its functions are much harder than other cameras. Sony need to improve these issues.

As Sony has launced many more good cameras. It is also a very good camera. It's shutter speed is also very nice. It's aperture is also good.It gives a very good picture quality.And It also gives a very good may say gorgeous video quality. But further I will say that Sony A7RIII is more better than this camera

The positive first: Images are crystal clear with 55mm f1.8 lens; image quality amazing; 24-105mm f4.0 nice enough; low light capability is super. Now the not so positive:

1) tilt screen - too stiff and not quite adjustable enough - articulating screen; built-in flash and battery charger included would have been nice;

2) 24-105mm is not ergonomically compatible with the camera at all. The lens is quite heavy for the camera, so a lens not balanced with the camera’s weight and poor grip design created spasms in my thumbs. First time, I was shooting a dancer on stage for about two hours – had to wear a brace for two days after. Forgot my monopod and paid the price. But with no flash allowed, the shots were much sharper compared to my friends Canon shots. The following week, I was outside shooting kids with kites for two hours. Now both my thumbs ached for four days. What a drag.

3) I’m not a professional photographer so I don’t use two cameras or a lot of lenses. I would have been much more amenable to keeping the camera if Sony offered a longer zoom - 24-135 or 140mm F2.8 as I take so many types of photos - even in the course of a few hours on a Sunday ( family group, kid candid shots, peacocks, landscape, indoor chanting meditation, food, etc) ;

4) this lens sticks while zooming in and out when taking video so there is no smooth transition – unacceptable;

5) touch pad & joy stick focus unpredictable and unreliable – drove me crazy.

6) After doing so much research and finally choosing the camera I wanted, the menu was a huge learning curve even though I own an older Sony, so I took a two-hour private class with someone already experienced on this model which helped quite a bit. I really wanted this Sony, was willing to overlook a few things, but in the end, after 2-1/2 months ( thank you B& H for your generous holiday return policy) , the relationship with this camera didn’t gel - the clincher was hurting my hands. Yes, I could have tried a grip but had already made a substantial investment in time, accessories, money, I needed more than a great image out of the box. I wanted to enjoy it, become one with it, like I have with my other Sony camera, but in the end, decided to call it quits and sent it back. I will have some beautiful shots and nostalgia – memories with the pain removed. I’m truly disappointed and sorry to say good-bye.

This is the first camera I ever brought with my own earning money. And I feet no regret after buying it. Really so much good camera with good display clarity battery backup and many all. It has 4k rear camera that shoot good picture still at night. And I recomend it must for professionals. It will be very helpful for them. Also it has a good battery backup. Its Hd quality and clarity makes me amazed.
