The samsung miniket is a movie-camera . Big news is it is not only a movie camera but it posses 5 other extracurricular* activities . Basically it is a camcorder+still camera+mp3 player+data storage+voice recorder+webcam .
*And I can tell you its design is excellent to use and take it anywhere . If you are not-satisfied with the product photo here just go to google.com and image search by the term' samsung miniket' .
Now my detailed overview and also read where it is more useful in our life . but first take a look at its feature:
enhanced video quality( ok I admit that video quality sony is the best . But that dosent mean samsung is very bad . however sony is more costly .)
10 x optical and 100x digital zoom( *nothing special here, 10x is the normal for any movie cam panasonic have a 20x cam but I am sure you are not Peter Jackson shooting a runaway kingkong .so why you need that much zoom? *)
Image stabilizer( every sony have this .this is useful . if you dont have this then thats a Dadv)

. PictBridgeTM
. Analog In / Out ( useful if you want a direct TV output .not everybody has a PC right?)
Now . readon miniket's extracurricular activities
as a webcam:
when you do video chat then this feature is useful . No need to buy a separate messy thing to attach on your monitor . Anyway the picture quality is good as a webcam .
Now a very useful feature>>
as a **voice recorder
- I have used this in this scenarios:
1. I was about to receive a gift from ICICIbank. I went to my nearest branch .they said call to our customer care for the problem . I talked to them and the whole conversation I have recorded in the samsung miniket . Later I got the gift from the bank because I went to the bank manager with the whole conversation, what they have promised and what I am receiving .
- Sometimes it happens that I goto office before my husband wakes up . So it happens that if I want to tell him anything I just record it and keep it at our bedside table .
Now as adata storage:
Ok nowadays everyone have a pen-drive . but u can use this as a data storage tooo . Not much useful because pen-drives are so handy but useful . Till date I havent use this feature much but who knows .
MP3 player .
its sound is as good as an ipod . really . I am not joking. and lcd display is big and better than ipod . and there will be no format issue here .
Digital still camera .
A high end sony / canon can produce better picture, but this is also good . most of you use ur mobile as a digicam but picture quality is better than that . 10x zoom and 3 mp . what more you want?
say you went to a tour or party . what you will take? a movie camra to shot all the activities and also a still camera to capture supirior quality photo? better take this . Its very lightweight, consure less space in ur bag and serve as a 6 in 1 .

If you ask me I use voice recorder and webcam feature almost everyday . and the 1st 2 feature whenever there is a party maybe at office or family . everybody says wow because of its size .so compact than big movie cams . For them the first impression is always " SOOO CUTE "
