A quick word on something which was bothering some of you yesterday.

Last evening, a few members complained to us that they were facing problems in going to their dashboard,diaries and a few other pages. "Page not found" was the message they were receiving. However, things are working fine and this may have been a temporary problem for some of you. Some members in fact even reported saying that their problems were solved soon after.

If you are facing issues even now,please do let me know.

Good news!

The error in uploading photos has been successfully resolved. I would like to thank all of you for keeping the faith. It was tough and frustrating for some of you but I'm glad that your patience paid off.

Now all of you can upload photos without any glitch.

Hi All,

Most of the Diaries which I post are planned in advance. Issues and features that need to be explained are discussed internally and then posted. However, this one is impromptu and posted without much internal discussions (though with a lot of thought).

Over the last few days, we have noticed that some of you are facing problems while uploading photos. The feature is working fine at our end. However, we do agree that since some of you are facing problems continuously, it means there could be something wrong with the uploading photos feature.

Our engineers are investigating the same and working very hard to resolve this issue. My only request - please do bear with us, the resolution is just round the corner.

The last few days on the Diary section have been fruitful for me. Would you believe that at MouthShut we have been able to select a new Featured Diary Post every single day, without fail? Stuff that fairytales are made of, someone would say had I posted this Diary a few weeks ago.

To select a Featured Diary Post we would rummage through piles and piles of jokes, forwarded emails, look at the profiles of certain prolific members and then finally get to one post which would be a few months old. It was that difficult, really.

Last week I made a reverent petition to God - "Kuch miracle-shiracle dikha bhagwan". And yes, God answered my prayer in no time. Soon, the number of original Diaries increased, members started delving deep into their own lives to look for inspiration. The jokes and forwards (which are also necessary) are still around. But we're all cheered by the fact that the original stuff has gone up, there by reducing the "emosional atyachaar" we had to go through while selecting a Featured Diary Post.

Not only is there a new Featured Diary Post everyday, the choice is now more varied. We do not award the same members with Featured Diary Posts and at the risk of repeating myself, I simply love the fact that we're getting to choose some great diaries on a daily basis.

Why this post?

Simple! It's an appeal to everyone who reads my post to contribute something personal and relevant (again, not that jokes are irrelevant, as long as they make us go ha-ha they are relevant). The diary segment, this way, will have more depth and variety, make for more interesting reading and yes, help us get to a new Featured Diary Post every day.

Like many, I also never liked seeing the same diary on the homepage for 2-3 days. Now that the wheel has started rolling, I would request all of you to give it a push.

What is the M2M feature?

The MouthShut M2M feature is nothing but an inbuilt email system for MouthShut.com members. Using this you can get in touch with other members.

What is the Bulletinfeature?

The Bulletin feature is a one-click wonder. Send a single email to all members who trust you in one single go. Note: Use it with caution.

M2M Inbox and M2M Sent:

All the M2Ms and Bulletins received and sent by you are stored in M2M Inbox and Sent folders respectively.

Now you can arrange your M2Ms:

1)By Status, i.e., Unread and Read

- This feature helps you to see Unread M2Ms first, Read M2Ms and then the M2Ms which were replied.

2)By From and To

- This enables you to view M2Ms Received and Sent by members sorted alphabetically in either ascending or descending way.

3) By Date

- This helps you to sort your M2Ms Received and Sent by Date in ascending or descending order.

Now, you can delete your M2M History by clicking ‘Delete history with this member’ while viewing the M2M history with a member.

Hi all:

Since yesterday, MouthShut.com has witnessed an unfortunate incident between two prominent members. What should have been sorted out by the two privately became a vitriolic accusation and counter-accusation in full public view. No brownie points to either of them for this.

Both members do have their valid reasons for their points-of-view but nothing, and I repeat nothing is bigger than the sanctity and equanimity of this site that gives everyone a right to express their opinions.

Also, I would use this space to request all of you not to indulge in any kind of groupism or ganging up. Please refrain from being party to any one warring member. Does not help matters.

Go on read all review or diary page there is icon My Yahoo and Google Reader under Tools at right hand side on page. Click on that icon and log in with your Yahoo or Gmail Id as per the reader you choose.

What is MouthShut Market Place?

MouthShut Market Place is a place where members can sell and buy products which are listed on MouthShut.com.

How can I sell a Product?

-Go to MouthShut Local Page
-Select a suitable category
-Select the product using Intelligent Search
-Write your Comment about the product
-Submit it
-The product will be shown with your ID as you want to sell
The deal would then be open and members interested in buying your Product can get in touch with you via M2M.

What can I write in comments while posting?

Comments are almost brief details about the products like price, condition etc....

How can I buy a Product?

In any of the Deal Open Products, send a M2M to the user who has posted the product which you want to buy by clicking on the Contact Me link.

How the Deal will be closed?

Once a member has bought a product from any member, the member who sold the product will have to send an email to MouthShut Support ( support@mouthshut.com) stating that h/she has sold the product to a MouthShut member. Our Admin team will then declare the deal closed.
