I am riding this bike since 2011. My best bike ever. Best bike in this segment. comfortable bike. Mileage is good but not best. I feel very comfortable when I go for long ride.

I have an Avenger 220 purchased recently. The Bike is good however there several pain points. One the key is in the side very irritating to bend over and take the key in and out. For 1.62 lacs do you seriously want to give me the lock used in Bajaj Chetak. I had an anticipation the suspension is very good, yes it is but not excellent but average . So is the pick up too.

The bike is good when you are alone are cruising the highway but with pillion its not so great.

People pay money for a product and the companies should use the same for R&D as much as they use for Marketing a product that has been thoroughly built needs less marketing example RX 100

Any day better than Bullet but when in 2021 there has to be an updated version. No comparison with my earlier Unicorn which is much better in highways and cities. Avenger is not a city bike at all don't buy it in City. I had issues with the gear the engineering is not up to the mark, hope it does not give problems in long rides

Performance is awesome.And the style too.The weight of the bike and the wideness of rear tyre simply turn the road grip awesome.The overall posture of riding is very comfortable.Seat is quite long com parable to other bikes.But the pillion seat can be a bit wider.But for both seat; padding is awesome.It will be better if bajaj launch a dual channel abs version.And coming to speed.You can easily reach 100km/hr at ease.Riding is very very smooth.My suggestion: - after completion of all free services please use a good quality engine oil.Better if you use a synthetic one.Choose between motul or liqui moly or the engine oils specifically meant for cruiser bikes.Obviously use that engine oil that matches the engine variant of this bike or meant to be used for this bike engine only.

My height is about 5.4 feet I feel most comfortable on this bike pickup of this bike is amazing breaking system is also good milage about 40 to50km in average speed looks of this bike are preety good for short height it is the best choice

been riding since 2007 and have ridden more than 2 lac kms by now on bike. In 2016, I bought bajaj avenger street 220. As I have been waiting for the new model of avenger. So I share my experience right from the moment I entered in showroom to make a purchase till now.Buying experience: buying experience has been very good as bajaj's team is very helpful in briefing all the features and in all the paperwork as well. Which is anyway expected as a consumer because we going to spend almost a lakh rupees on one of their product. So I would say buying experience was good.Riding experience: the riding experience over the bike is very good, it has a low profile seating which makes you feel comfortable specially on the longer rides. Posture of sitting keeps you back almost straight. Which is a good point in terms of health concerns specially for the people who ride daily like me and that too approx 80-100 km per day. Long rides are comfortable and even in city it's a good vehicle to ride upon. But one thing o mention is seat should be a little softer. Long rides might be uncomfortable for some people as I have to get it extra layered with 1" foam for softness.About looks and performance: the look is the only crux that convinced thousands of consumer to make a purchase for this product. Its black matte look is fabulous, allow wheels are like cherry on the cake in this cruise bike in terms of looks. But the only thing that was expected and is missing, is the led tail lamp and yellow reflectors on the front forks. So far as the performance of the bike is concerned, I would say being 220cc this bike, i'm a bit dissatisfied with it's performance with respect to pick-up and 0-60 km time taken. Engine performance is just satisfactory. Moreover the biggest issue in the bike is clutch. You are hardly be able to neutral the bike if the engine is running. I really find it so difficult to neutral with running engine when I need to stop and keep standing and even the shifting of gears is always tight. One more thing that was expected from bajaj in this bike was tubeless tyres. Which is not there and bajaj should have tie up with any tyre manufacturer for the availability of the rear tyre which is r15-130/90 and not available by now in the market. So for tubeless some people suggested me r15-140/90 instead of r15-130/90 stating that increased tyre size will decrease the mileage.Service and maintenance: service interval of every 5000 km is good in comparison with other bikes. So service cost is not so much. As I have driven it 13000 km so by the grace of god there is nothing much as of now. But there is one thing which is very severe, is the engine packing and oil seal in the piston chamber that gets melted as soon as you run it at 70kmph speed oil starts leaking from there. So the pros and cons are: Pros: 1. The black matte look 2. Allow wheels 3. Low profile seating 4.Cruise styling 5. No or lesser backache issues Cons: 1. Severe clutch issue 2. Hard or tight gear shifting 3. Lack of tubeless tyres 4. Engine seal melting issue 5. Hard seat.

I bought this bike on the mid of last year. Unfortunately after six months of usage it started showing problems. Like engine is getting exess heat, complained about this many times , but there is no action or solutions taken from the service center. Also this bike hav some starting problems. I changed battery even though the issue not solved yet. Breaking system is not good. Because of this I have fell down from the bike at once . Bajaj avenger have no kick start , this will may have too much problems during winter season. During winter means last December this will have staring problem in morning. Many I have got punishment from these bike. For turning too much space needed.

I bought the bike on 2015 in mumbai. Quite easy to handle in city traffic. The riding position is very relaxed and the suspension is good too.

Avarage mileage but still good for a 220 CC engine. After the second service the milage was better.

Pick up could be better. While riding on bit hilly road the pick crisis was very vivid.

Braking has a major issue in front. While braking, I had to face a bit of tyre scratching.

Over all built quality is good. But there is a huge issue with the chain and spoket. I had to replace a lot of time. To be very honest, that is the only thing which hated about the bike.

Overall, a good commuter, value for money but don't expect too much of pick please, its a cruiser.

I used to love this bike before buying but when I bought this bike it lasted for 2 months after buying this bike and I drove it only 6000 km and after running 6000 km, this bike started having problems with self start The sound of the bike started changing. And there was a problem in its suspense as well, so I got it served but even after getting the service, there was no change. But this bike seat is very good for long drive.but thier milege is good

I bought this bike one year ago, it is not the best but is one of kind where its has a long handel bar and a big body structure.It has good milage and a good posture .

It was my first new bike I purchased. The dealer was Grand Bajaj of Thrissur Punkunnam. The initial dealing was very good with the features and lies about the products(mostly salesman say things to make a sale) later I decided to buy @ 1.25 lakhs and booked. One week after transferred the balance amount and informed the showroom to arrange delivery of the vehicle on Saturday. They said all is set you can come on Saturday. Thursday I called up the guy who was dealing with me then also he said it's okay you will get it on Saturday but he seems to be hiding something from me. The next day came to know that the vehicle they don't have stock so they are arranging it from some other showroom and it is not ready any way they promised me that they will deliver on time.

Then on Saturday, I went to take delivery I got a bike ridden almost 60 km. and no proper washing was done and temporary registration was not done. and even they don't have a service book and warranty card. they assured me that they will deliver the booklet and warranty card to my house that never happened and even after several visits I made to the showroom still didn't receive it I bought the bike in Jan-2019.

Bike Common Complaints:

The bike shows missing while riding in heavy traffic.

Started oil leak from the head after second/ third service.

Pillion seat is not comfortable for long rides.

Balance problems while taking turns.

I have been using it for one year , bought in September 2019

Ive mostly used it for long rides , have used bullets too , so I'll be talking on behalf of avenger.

There are pros and cons

Pros: -

1: - The Shock absorber is awesome while for long ride

2: - Handeling is Also great on roads

3: -the seating for rider is also optimal

4: - Breakings are on point

5: - mileage it gives me around 40

6: - Looks vise has a hunky look if teo boxes are fitted looks like a muscel chopper

Cons: -

1: - Pavilion rider seat is narrow and little uncomfortable

2: - Mirrors are not upto mark

3: -Not optimal for city rides as it tends to be unstable due to large frame

Thats all , I've used it and im pretry proud of it , always turns peoples eyes towards it and pretty good bike for rider like me

The bike seems preety decent in terms of performance and power. However, The height of tge bike is not practical taking in consideration the indian roads . I brought the bike last september and one of the only problem faced was the mileage. the mileage of this bike is pretty low compared to other bikes in the indian market like spender. However, this bike is a great fit for indian tennagers and a value for money in this particular price range. I would reccomend royal enfield or jawa bikes to those who can lift their budget by some more rupees. The thickness of tge bike’s tyre is a plus point as it is anti skid as far as I believe.

Yes it is very comfortable for long drive people and also it is very good for ladhak trip, kanyakumari trip, nepal. Etc, yeah I like the mileage of the bike and the customs of bike is really good, for short people is very good for driving and also comfortable, the power of the bike is good and I like pick up of the bike it is extremely good and the breaks sensor is to good, if you rode the bike it give such a awsome feel you have never feel, the maintenance of the bike is average, it is a huge bike in avenger, this bike is also good off road driving very comfortable, and the handle of the bike is so good

Hi have been a lover of Cruiser Bikes, unfortunately Indian Market doesn't have many Cruiser style Bikes. But Bajaj Avenger series has been the answer of all my needs. I have been using this Bike for almost 3 years, never felt any issues. It's comfortable for long rides, Pickup is decent too. By looks it's just awesome. Overall it's really comfortable and Solid at the same time. It's mileage is ok ok definitely not on the higher side, but still it's not bad. Personally I would give this Bike a Thumbs up.

It was easy to buy from any bajaj showroom. Easily available.The riding experience was not good. Bike was not that comfortable. Can't go for long rides. Look wise it was good, performance was okay okay. Not so good. Service was cheap with max expense of 1200/- in my case.Pros. 1. Easily available 2. Looks good. Cons: Non performing bike. Not comfortable No resale value. Lots of fiber. Average not good. Suggestions. If you are willing to spend anywhere close to 130000, I would personally suggest to go for royal enfield. It is a total package bike, which could be used as the way you like. Plus the older it gets, the costlier it becomes.
