Dear MSian friends,
This morning I am both excited and upset, but I should say Im more upset than excited because of what I have discovered. My poem entitled, " Love So True or True Love " that I wrote some 4 or 5 years ago and even posted here in MS(SEE THE LINK NO.1) was being "PLAGIARIZE" by some people unknown to me in some sites. How I discovered it?
I was here in MS this morning and I see this site on the side part that is inviting writers regarding poetry and story. I registered because I am interested on publishing my poems and stories possibly in book. But to my surprise, when I tried to post my poem mentioned above, the Google page appeared and when I clicked it, this is what I discovered. A certain (1.) Richard Neil Thompson from Jamaica, have the same lines as I have from my poem.See the link and poem below.
I wrote the numbers beside to easily recognized what lines was being copied. How could two or three people wrote the same thoughts lines by lines from the different parts of the world? Although it happened to me one time, I wrote a line that was almost the same as what that particular writer said in some topics(not here in MS). Its just the idea that are similar but with little difference in words we used. But for this certain guy named, Richard, to have all the 7 lines the same as mine, is really something that he has an amazing brain or an amazing copycat from my poetry.
Another guy named (2.)Praveen posted this poem in his blog. It says posted by Praveen but never mentioned who the poet is. At the first glance, you will think, he wrote it. Im more sad because this guy is from India. But nevertheless, it doesnt meant that Im condemning Indian people as a whole, just this particular guy. I dont know if he is the same Praveen in poetryoflife where this poem was posted too. My concerns is, he should have mentioned my name as the poet. And one thing leads to another... then, there's also someone named(3.) modela 45, who uploaded a song and pictures in Youtube and if you read thetitle, "MY TRUE LOVE" click the word "SHOW MORE," YOU WILL READ THE WHOLE POEM I WROTE. I feel excited that my poem is becoming known/popular, but I feel more upset to know that people claimed it as if their own thoughts. But for GOD SAKE, I could take an oath before God and men that- I am my own author and poet of the said poem. They could change the title but the whole lines, are mine and mine alone! I feel like crying not because they copied it but, "What I am afraid of is that-- someday, it might appear that I was the one who copied from them! " How could this people so cruel or mean not to acknowledge me as the true author or poet?

My dear friends, I am sharing this because I want your opinions. I was not able to go to work because it gives me an upset stomach. I feel butterflies is filling inside and fluttering, that I dont have the appetite to eat. I hope you understand what Im feeling right now. Hoping to read your opinions soon.
