EaseMyTrip_Care is working closely with MouthShut.com to enhance customer satisfaction.
I had booked a round-trip Air India flight via EaseMyTrip. When the return leg(SingaporePune) was cancelled by the airline, I was offered a connecting flight via Delhi. As the passenger(my mother) is a senior citizen with wheelchair requirements, I requested a direct SingaporeMumbai flight, which was visibly available on public platforms.
To my shock, EaseMyTrip support denied its availability multiple times. It took 4 agents, multiple emails, and an escalation only then did they finally admit the flight was available(after I shared screenshots!). By then, I was already so mentally exhausted, I had to cancel the ticket.
The app showed ₹;14, 406 as fare and ₹;500 service fee, implying a ₹;13, 906 refund. But I received only ₹;9, 888, with zero breakup or explanation. Even after escalation, all I got were vague replies like "correct refund has been processed" without quoting any figures.
I have now filed a formal complaint through a government consumer grievance portal. Im not doing this for money or ego. Im doing it because consumers deserve to be treated with respect, not like numbers to be brushed off.
EaseMyTrip claims to provide hassle-free travel, but my experience was the oppositefilled with errors, stress, and no transparency.
