HELLO FRIENDS, I sharing my personal experiance on vimeo I use this and I very like this it is best celebrity video sharing app.

The Vimeo is video sharing website in which user can upload share and view videos.

It was the first video sharing site to support high definition video vimeo was founded in november 2004 by jake lodwick and zack klein.

It focuses on short film and movies sold with vimeo on demand I using for share video to family and friends,

relatives it is best site to show you talent to the world the famouse website to explor video become high rated.

Vimeo is one of the worst video sharing site that I ever used.

The service and support are also worst, they doesn't have instant service and support for making a login account I have stop for half an hour to get email verification link.

The information they provide is also not so deep about their playback features as other video sharing sites for example youtube have lots of playback feature and they provide deep information about their feature.

The content is really worst and without meaning full, the video uploaded also have very bad edited.

It's slightly user friendly and not back good feature.

The video and playback quality is not good, it take so much time to load video even in high speed internet connection.

I have 50 Mbps internet connection and vimeo take 2-3 minutes to load video.

I am not recommended you to use vimeo, you really got frustated.

I have use Vimeo to upload videos but the service and support in not very good.

The buffering and uploading speed is not good compare to Youtube.

The content available at Vimeo is just decent and the membership cost is really high.

It is not a very user friendly website.

To upload a video it takes very long time.

The website is very old and the player needs to be updated.

I would happily choose Youtube over Vimeo.

I have created my account in this website before few months and I upload some of my videos which is including my acting auditions and after some days I got to know that my video has been in private mode and I got to know that my channel has been flagged as spamer I don't think there is such contents which include any type of spamming content even you can view my videos on YouTube go to YouTube.com/TheSritam u will know that in my video there was no hope to find any type of such content for removing my videos or terminating my channel. and the most important thing and I didn't get any type of emails or notification that I my channel has been removed

Its amazing site, I joined this site.Picture and video quality of this aite is well and its sound reception is also amazing.

I like this site.This site is full of information and it is taking less time to loading each and every page of this site.

I sometime used this site for watching online videos and also preferred my family members to use this site to watching online videos or movies.

This is like youtube.Whenever I need someone's help then their customer service is always available.

Well, I donot believe it is better than you tube. I tried to find movie clips of old movies but all I got was clips and web links of you tube. I would call it as a helping hand of you tube rather than a full video sharing sites. Some may or may not agree with my views but this is a true confession.

Then, unlike you tube, you can't monetize your video content. It also lacks strict guide lines against offensive content but then why blame it!

In short, it could be good as it  still needs lots of improvement. But, so long as you tube will be there, Vimeo may hardly become numero uno!

Recently got to know about this site from one of my best friend. So I visited this site and registered there, as by best friend it is very useful site.

I have found it is very similar to Youtube.com, same here also we can watch, share or upload our videos. But here the quality of videos is much better, clear, its HD qualities.

The other things I liked is there privacy settings. Now a days we must need much more security, like on these sites.

Video streaming is very good, uploading system is quick on Vimeo site.

No advertisement will disturb you, that is also a plus point in this site.

Over all I go for Vimeo as they have much more improved quality videos, they concern on qualities of video and also its very easy to upload video on their site, as I am time by time upload my Piano videos, so I have also used Google and Youtube, both took much time in uploading.

Making account also much easy here. No comercial advertisement will disturb, they also give free service. So many good inspirational and craft learning videos.

I have come to know about this site 5 years ago when I was asked to promote one my client's video on Vimeo.com, as a part of social media promotion.

I liked the site interface very much, and it looked sophisticated and trendy in design too. When I went to upload the video, the speed was OK. But, it took longer time while processing the video. Later, while extensively working on Vimeo, I experienced video crashing so many times. so not expected from personal or professional perspective!

It is not at par with youtube in terms of video streaming too. They do not accept videos related to gaming which is major concern!

It does not show your video on HD by default, I also faced trouble while uploading and processing an hour long video, so not recommended for long duration video.

The website is offering 500 MB upload per month for a free uses and if you upgrade to PRO you can upload 5GB per month.

If you are using Wi Fi, it will not perform satisfactorily.

Then, again I am not  fully against it, posted videos often get appreciation and encouragement. If you are armature and new in this area, and like to post your family video, Vimeo is a better option then Youtube.

They have to improve technically to be at par with Youtube.

I am a big fan of youtube. Though I understand the standards and content are different but still vimeo somehow do not hold you.

some time you get bored surfing, and I think thats what happens with lot of people and that is why it is less popular.

Look and feel(GUI) is also not very jazz. Which is important because lot of young crowd comes to this site. The player especially is not very good takes a lot of time to load. So, one loses interest and skips the site. They should have more video quality control options. Uploading is not as easy as youtube. And basically admin panel is not at all friendly. Its ok. But, I am not fan of it.

Vimeo is an online video community, second only to YouTube. Since it is not as famous as YouTube, the traffic is not so high. They also have the channel system. But most of the features are available when you have a paid account. No advertising like YouTube which for a viewer is a plus, but for someone who wants to generate revenue with videos, a no-no.

You cannot commercialize your videos here. Advertising is not what they do, they generate revenue with paid accounts. Only limited number of features are available for free users, hence only quality reaches here. Pro account holders get to jump the upload queue, better insights, a 2 pass encoding wherein the video size is significantly reduced without compromising on quality and better features. One of the features that pro account holders get is customizing your player, a flexibility not offered by YouTube. Since there is less traffic, content uploaded is very less compared to YouTube. You can also download the free videos.

In a way, you'll find video connoisseurs here. Those into short films or branding are mainly found on Vimeo. If you are a brand, then you should be on Vimeo. If you are viewer and love indie videos, then you must try it too
