Sohonetindia people are big frauds for Indian people.
What do they think of themselves? They can easily fool people.....easily tamper with lakhs of people's emotion??
I wish they must be hanged to death right in the center of the city so that all can see.
Let me describe my own experience...
I graduated and completed my engineering in 2001. Unfortunately it was recession time and was very hard for one to find a job. I struggled hard but was not able to get one.
I heard about this (my bad luck) from somewhere and thought let me give it a chance as I didn't have anything that time.
I hardly managed to get 16000 Rs to get 2 subscriptions(they charged 8000 Rs for one subscription during that time).
I got CDs that contain those so called legal data. but there was no image and was only text data. as all know one has to correct the data by looking at the given correct image.
But why should it be corrected as the original content is also in text format.This means that original data is well typed correct data and there is no image.
I gave one CD to one of my friend to get it done as he too had no job.He did a hard work and completed in month.
Till that period I came to know that they don't pay anything to anybody and rejecting everybody's work.
About second CD.....I thought...ok if that is the case then let me play with it.
As I said the original content was in mere text format......I found the database which is generally in Ms-Access.
I tried opened it but it had password.So I found the way and cracked it and opened(i am a s/w professional and this is way easy for me)
The whole picture was clear open in front of me.This database has few tables.......the table that contains this text data..has two of the columns for this data.
One column has that so called incorrect data and other contained correct data.I simply copied the correct column and paste it to overwrite the incorrect data.
All done....second CD was ready in 5 mins.I had no hope left that they would send me payment for this work if I send them.
Though I sent both the CDs to them.One which was completed by my friend was rejected saying less accuracy.
And about the second CD, I have not heard from them till date which I am sure has 100% accuracy.
Anyway, God has returned me a lot than this ......I am in TCS now and also been to London last month for 2 weeks.
But the thing is, these sohonet people played with my emotion and sentiments when I had nothing.
Will Indian law have any special right ever to punish this type of FRAUD???
Why are they still in operation as now almost all know how they cheat??
