I discovered rotten.com at a very bad time in my life.That Saturday night,I was working on an assignment and the worst of all, the main bulb in my room was burnt leaving me in the dark, with only my small study lamp.Since it was freezing outside,I didn't bother buying a new one.This was a mistake.Because I was too stressed with my assignment, I decided to surf a little to get some inspiration before starting this assignment. I got on a website with unimaginable ghosts stories and pictures and when I clicked on this link, I landed on rotten.com.
The ghost stories already made trembling in my room.At one point, I went to see if there is a body or a ghost under my bed.Since it was dark,I was more frightened.Now I was on the rotten.com first page.It says something like,' An archive of disturbing illustration'. I said ‘who cares about the hell stuff’

WHY IS IT ROTTEN?
The site is morally polluted with pictures,stories and facts.The first page contains all the links to some pictures.When someone hears about pictures, you sometimes think about someone in a pose smiling at the camera.Well,these ones will make you puke on the screen.The first one I opened,it said 'Head'.Innocently,I clicked on the link.I saw the picture and I immediately felt unwell.It was a head lying on a road with the man's eyes wide open.The impact on me was immediate.
Before you open the pictures, the title of the link does not prepare you very well mentally on what you are going to see.This is why when you click on the picture, you are terrified. The pictures on the website contain drug addicts who have died in the open, with their body almost decomposed.And before opening such files, it only gives you a brief warning on what you are going to see.
I think that rotten.com is a website, for those who need a shake-up.For those who like horror movies,well rotten.com pictures are worth more than these tricky creatures with green eyes on the screens.It's not for everyone.Those who are saying, ‘Bring it on’, Read on.
WHY I DID NOT STOP WHEN IT IS SO REPULSIVE?
Addiction: Unfortunately, I got addicted to see more.Look, our brains want more because we think, how can all these exist? You want more of these pictures.I cannot describe the morgue pictures. Some contain post-mortem pictures of Saddam Hussein's sons Uday and Qusay as well.You will be shocked to see these.
After 30 mins of seeing these pictures,I said to myself that it is time for a break as it was nearly 2am Sunday morning. I started walking with a heavy head full of new pictures and a thousand of unanswered questions. The assignment was still undone now after these pictures.
AFTER THE BREAK
I now opened the other sections to relieve myself.There is a Daily Rotten section where you learn something quite normal after these disturbing pictures.A section about some 'bizzare pictures' which people send from all over the world.They are not terrifying but rather questionable and some are funny. Worth a look.There are some Mugshots pictures of some celebrities.There is also a section to some adult products and images.Really unseen as it is described on the website as it not free. In the FAQ, the guys say that they are not ashamed of showing these pictures.People react to these pictures in some paragraphs on the website itself.It does not finish here.
I thought I was done on this website and would start my assignment now, when I saw a Link Section.

If you think,that you have landed on the sickiest and the most unimaginable site on the Internet, then you are dead wrong.To get out of this rotten stuff, I tried to click on the list of links they have there.I think that was a big mistake on my part.The links are to the most dreadful websites where people do stupid and dirty things(not porn).They also go to some websites which have odd literature on religion, daily news around the globe and some hilarious websites as well. I believe that the links are for intellectuals or those who are thirsty for some knowledge out there or for some perverts as well.
After going through every bit of this website, I could not believe my eyes. I was now flooded with a zillion of questions in my mind.
THE AFTERMATH
It left a great impact on me.It left me in deep thoughts about humanity, religion and the dangers of accidents.It makes you feel insecure to see how our body is so fragile. When it's hit in an accident, you will never believe how your lovely ears, head or arms can look so horrible with all these blood and these bones out of the way.For sure, it's not for sensible souls.You don't get thrills when you see these pictures.The mood changes on the spot.Our mind is not used to these pictures and our brains react differently,creating some confused emotions in us.
INTERESTING FACTS AFTER SEEING THIS WEBSITE
Censorship:It's useless for talking about it because I am sure when a Board of Censor will assess this site, most of them will either faint or may run away from censorship forever.The site is legal.
Fainting:Is that a joke?Of course,many of you will faint if you are not mentally prepared.
USEFUL DONTS
1.Don’t go to meet your Girlfriend/Boyfriend immediately after seeing this website, they will never believe your state of shock or you won’t be able to talk to them.
2.Don’t send the horrible pictures as jokes to your friends.You may never hear from them again.
3.Don’t try to show your grand-parents how to use the internet by first logging on this site. They may curse you if they are still alive.
4.Don’t surf this website on the eve of your exams as you might forget everything you studied.
