I took a Rs 9800/- zip loan but could not make the payment on time because I lost my job. On 23rd August 2023, I received multiple threatening calls from the collection/recovery team.
I requested that I pay the due amount in a week as I am facing financial issues, but they did not listen, they simply abused me, and after some time they called my mother( 85 years old) and used abusive language to her and my sister. Then they called my relatives and did the same thing. I don't know how they hacked my contact list. Moreover, it's a crime that Mobikwik has done by hiring these types of people, who don't give respect to old people and ladies.
My mother is a heart patient. She is now in the hospital. If something goes wrong, I will not abandon anyone.
At last, from the collection team, one of the members told me to pay Rs 5000, then they would provide me with an NOC and will stop calling.
Then I borrowed from my colleague and made the payment. But they did not send me the NOC. Even after they started abusing and threatening me.
Who gave this right to access the customer's phone contact list and threaten all the family members and relatives and abusing them with vulgar words.
It might be possible that if any fraud will occur in future then MobiKwik will be responsible for that.
