mumbai India
Really bad service from sai service andheri
Sep 27, 2008 12:00 PM

I purchased a maruti omni cargo(LPG) in april 2008 from sai service Mumbai, right from next month i.e may 2008 the vehicle started giving problems like its starts jerking when it takes a single run journey say about 50kmsafter which sometimes it totally stops in the middle of road & does start thereafter

I took the vehicle to sai service service station located at andheri E, the technical team returned the vehicle same day in the eveining saying there were some minor adjustments done and the vehicle is now ok, but the same problem was still there

I did this same procedure 2 time again with the same result as some minor tuning, minor adjustment done & the vehicle was returned to me saying its ok , till date the problem is not solved, i am totally disatisfied with service quality of **Sai Services Andheri,

*as a customer I had purchased my first 4 wheeler from maruti suzuki with a great faith in you for vehicle performance as well as the service dellivery but unfortunately due to some negligence from your service provider I am slowly losing that faith, I beleive that some action is taken before that faith is totally lost

Vehicle No MH02 AY 5112

Poor Service provided by Maruti Udyog
Jul 03, 2008 01:22 AM

I own a Maruti 800AC bought in Sep 2005 through Competent Automobile, Delhi, ever since I bought my vehicle I had been through extensive trouble, the complete experience had been extremely poor with Competent Automobile, Gazipur, Delhi. But the current experience with Competent Automobile, Gurgaon was a nightmare experience and made me feel regretted about opting for a brand called “MARUTI”.

Now without wasting much of your time I shall share my experience with you.

I along with my family was going to Jhunjhunu (Rajasthan) on 12th April 08, we started from home at around 5:45pm and after crossing Manasar we meet with a massive accident at 8:30am, though none of us were hurt, but the vehicle was in bad shape and it had to been taken to nearest Maruti service station. After clearing all formalities like police complaint etc, I reached at competent Automobile at 4:30pm, the vehicle was received by Mr Ashish in Body Shop, I was given a time frame of 10days for repairing the vehicle i.e. 22nd April was the delivery day.

Now to see the progress of work I reach Competent Automobile on 17th April at 1:30pm without informing them, I was surprise to see that the vehicle was not attended by Competent was keep in poor share, i.e. full of dust etc. I got furious seeing this and reported the matter to Mr. Pankaj Narula, GM Maruti Udyog as soon as I got back to my office at 2.30pm.

I didn’t receive any reply from Maruti from next 4 to 5 days, I was really surprise to see such a poor service from them,  so I decided to give him a call, but he was not available to talk, later I spoke to Mr. KK Gaur, who was heading Maruti Service, north.

After several calls and email I finally got my vehicle on 25th April 08, but there was no one to explain the job carried out on the vehicle, neither the company provided me copies of bills.

The list of problems were never ending and they have not been repaired till date, I would try to shorten my review and put down list of problems.

I contacted again Maruti & National Insurance as well this time to report the matter with details, but none of them look into my complaint, I am still emailing them, thinking that they would look into it.

I feel like being cheated by Competent Automobile, Maruti Udyog Limited and National Insurance Company. Now I am planning to approach the consumer cost of India to file a legal case against the companies.

I would request you all not to buy any products from above companies, customers don’t have any importance to them.

Thanks for reading my review.

Maruti sales and service naraina
Dec 22, 2007 09:34 PM

I can use only these words for Maruti sales and service Naraina Delhi. I bought alto one month ago. When we went for first service they had done it in just 2 hours.

Unfortunately our car met with an accident. We take the car to maruti sales and service. They gave the time after two days to collect the car. And on right time they provide the car with cash less insurance.

Unfortunate things can happen in life. But when some body likes Maruti sales and service that provide utmost care to us, we forget unfortunate things and remember good things. They just do the formalities and just forget about rest. They will do everything for you like insurance claim from the company, repair on time, survey, photograph and every thing. Their after sales service is just wonderful and I forget our accident and write this review.

If you ask what score I will give, I give 10 out of 10.

Thank you maruti to take care of our car after sales.

I stumbled upon Maruti Udyog website after I bought my first car a Maruti 800 in 2004. I wanted to look up some more information on Maruti and I then came across this web site. And I must say that it has been a very useful service for me. http://www.marutiudyog.com, is useful for both people wishing to buy a Maruti car as well as the owners of one. Unlike most of the corporate websites which are mere PR material, this website actually is of immense help to prospective as well as existing customers. Like the company, the website is pretty ordinary looking, no fancy stuff, no frills. It has a very no nonsense look. But the features it offers are of immense help to the end user. Basically the web site is targeted at two categories – **Buyers and Owners.

I want to Buy a Maruti

The home page lists all the popular models of Maruti in the left navigation bar. So lets say you have decided to purchase that Swift model. When you click on that link, you are taken to the home page of that model.  You get the basic specifications you are looking at. You can also have a look at the cost, by selecting the city.  You can also find out the nearest dealer for the Swift in your city. You can also have a look at the price of various accessories, and in a way this really helps you in taking a decision related to purchase of the car.

The best part is the home page for every model also contains reviews by customers and experts giving their views about it. In a way this gives you a very clear picture on deciding your purchase. Every model listed on the home page, has it’s own web page. And while the look and feel might vary from model to model, the basic content is the same.

You could also go to the model’s home page, by clicking on tab For Buyers and then selecting your model. For Buyers there is also a link to Maruti Finance, where you could get information on Maruti car loans and there is an EMI calculator for you to do the calculations, based on the Principal and Interest. You could also get useful information about Maruti Insurance, which provides a comprehensive insurance package for your car.

Maruti True Value** leads you to http://www.marutitruevalue.com, . This site is primarily for people who intend to exchange their cars for a new model or want to sell off their existing cars. Since you are dealing directly with Maruti here, the chances of getting conned by a second hand dealer are less.

I already have a Maruti

Exisiting  Maruti owners can register as a user on the site and log into to make use of this feature.  For owners there is a Maruti Auto Card which is a loyalty rewards programe.  You can use this a credit card, as well as totaling up Auto Points.  You can check http://www.marutiautocard.com for more information on this program. You also have the option of downloading the user manual for the model you are having with you.

Extensive Sales and Service Network

Maruti may not have the cool, hip appeal that aFord or Opel has. It does not carry the luxury tag which aBMW or Mercedes brings. But it does have a major advantage its extensive sales and service network, which penetrates into the smaller towns of India. In effect it means that wherever you are in India, you have a Marutiworkshop ready for your car.

Maruti has two kind of service stations- Dealer Workshops and Maruti Authorized Service Stations. The dealer workshops handle both the sales and service, while the Maruti Authorized Service Stations handle only the service part. So if you are shifting to a new place, you can get to know the dealers that city from the website. Useful tips are also given for owners on car maintenance, fuel efficiency and how to get better mileage from your car. As well as some pretty useful information on safe driving.

Make your Trip

One of more useful utility which I came across was the Destination Route Guide. So you are planning that trip to Coorg in your Maruti. You can download the entire route map, as well as how to prepare yourself as well as your car for the trip. It also gives you the various routes which you can take to Coorg, as well as the places to be visited once you reach there. There are destination route guides to Pachmarhi, Goa, Dandeli,  Rishikesh,  Ranikhet etc. In fact this was pretty much helpful for me when I travelled in my car from Noida to Rishikesh.

You can also get information on some races like Maruti’s Raid De Himalaya, Desert Storm etc. There are some snazzy desktops, wallpapers and egreetings for the fun loving user. There is also a very useful section for Investors wishing to hold a stake in Maruti. You can also get some useful information on Maruti’s corporate culture, latest offers, latest news and events.Navigation is pretty much user friendly, and its easy to go to any section. And the format though not very snazzy is pretty easy on the eyes.

So all in all a pretty useful site for people who are planning to buy a car, as well as those owing it.

trivandrum india
VERY POOR SERVICE
May 02, 2006 08:54 PM

I am the father of Mr.Ajith G iyer, Who has purchased an ALTO LXi from popular automobile Trivandrum KERALA STATE on 19 th oct 2005.

The process of sales was so bad I had to involve the M D MUL to intervene and get the feed back to your dealership at Trivandrum.

The first sevice was carried out but I AM NOT A SATISFIED CUSTOMER.

SECOND SERVICE, less told the better.

I am sorry to use this word but as absolutly required to carry it any further, as these IDIOTS at your dealership do not know the requirement of either M U L or statutory requirements.

Popular service staff are unaware of the ''POLLUTION UNDER CONTROL '' requirements.

Vehicle returned to me WITHOUT the P U C after SIX months after D O D./

YOU/ YOUR Dealer is forcing me to go to UNAUTHORISED Workshops for my sevice requirements, which I am sure is NOT a Maruti policy.

My veh # is KL 01 AK 5808. (ch # and ENG # NOT QUOTED PURPOSLY as I have LOST my faith in BOTH M U L and their DEALERS)

(Let MUL / POPULAR Search and get back to me will itself be a challenge!!!)

Plain and simple… yet with all info you need
Aug 26, 2005 12:35 PM

I am thinking of upgrading to a premium hatch. So have been researching a lot on the various options available. I did most of my homework online. I thought I should pen up my thoughts on the websites of the automobile companies.

The sites I checked…

I was looking for the B-segment cars, but also looked at some other cars I liked!

https://marutiudyog.com

http://www.india.ford.com

http://www.gm.co.in

http://www.hyundai.co.in

http://www.tatamotors.com

Marutiudyog.com –plain and simple

You won’t find this site very attractive, except if you are looking at the page for the new Swift. But then, it is more of a no- nonsense site. You have all the information you came there to check on and much more…

All the info…

The company has one of the best updated sites. You have all the information on the various models of the company, for the used car market, car accessories, driving tips, maintenance tips and much more.

Then to add to the cars, there are the news and events, polls, quiz, newsletters, dealer locater and even finance and insurance options. Now that is going to be very helpful to the buyer.

Brochures

Well! You could download brochures for any of the Maruti products. Ranging from the 800, to the gypsy, to the Suzuki Grand Vitara. The brochures are all completes and there are no hassles in downloading. The servers are all pretty fast and with a cable modem, you can download a brochure in seconds, while it almost took me two or three minutes to download a brochure for the indigo from tata motors.

Utilities…

Then there is the fun stuff. Wallpapers and screensavers featuring the various cars from the Maruti stable. Then they say there are e- greetings and desktop utilities, but I don’t have that much time to waste…

Destination guides… cool

Then there is another thing worth mentioning. The destination guides to the various places can come in very handy while planning a trip. They give details on how to prepare you car, drive, location, activities and features of the place, what to look for, places of interest and other useful information like the weather, accommodation etc.

For buyers… for me! I’m flattered!

There are separate sections for the buyers and it mainly focuses on the various aspects that a prospective buyer would be interested in knowing about the company and the whole process of buying a car. Then there are also separate sections for the owners. The website does give the feeling that the company does care for its owners. Good thing my old car is also a Maruti.

Its child’s play

That’s what I liked about the site. Every piece of information is well arranged into respective categories and so placed that even children can understand where to look for. The main page itself gives links to the pages of their various models of cars, and all these pages are complete with every information on the car.

Wanna express your feelings?

The owners section is also very complete with owner manual, service stations, car care, and special offers and also to express your feelings.

Comparisons and my views…

The tata motors site has recently update their site and it is also equally good, and more colorful. The rest, though very interesting, lacks much details… So it is a good site from the best automobile manufactorer in India.
