UNMASKING ITPL..
May 14, 2004 08:18 PM 3346 Views

itpaystolearn.com where you can cash in for answering quizzes. It's not another get paid to read email site,it pays for completing quiz. Well if they are not that type how they are earning?what's the catch?well I will explain about it later in review. First we will see more about thier website.

Apperance:-

This site is accessed from url https://itpaystolearn.com. You can register or log in from the left hand naviagtional menu. Most of the links are on the left side frame.

Website is created in Frames so obviously low speed internet users will face problems sometime. Pop up windows are less than average get paid to websites.

Few external links mentioned within website opens in new windows.

Offers:-

This site after registering lets you take quizzes with which you can earn 4500 cash points. Which is equal to the 4.5 U.S dollars. If you invited any friend to register then from his cash points you can earn few cash points as refferal. This site also offers ''Get paid to read email messages'' within users account. This is nice facility as your email is protected.Normal users can earn upto 4500 cash points if they become Gold member then this limit exceeds. Many other facilities are offered to gold members only.

Apart from these offers ITPL offers cashback system like any other Getpaidto site. They also arranges small contests every two months or so. They arranged Logo contest which was full of fun.

Quizzes are arranged in three categaries as Begineer, Intermediate & Expert. Sub-catergaries like science, music, history, maths, words are good to check out.

Combination of all categaries is sumed into ''Ecalecta'' or something like that. After completing quizzes you can cash in your points.

You can even check for your knowledge percentage in quizzes. Overall quizzes are written with nice effort. Quizzes are good for little childrens to test their knowledge.

Payments:-ITPL payment options are via check or Paypal. If you earned 50 cents or more you can ask for it via paypal or let your cash grow towards 25$. So in order to get 50 cents or more in your paypal account u need take quizzes or read messges.

Catch?

Well this is where ITPL will loose many members from now on. ITPL was full with sponsors till 2001 but after that they started loosing sponsors.

So for thier suvival They started Gold membership facility with which users can earn double amount than average user. This facility costs few dollars only.As ITPL is short of sponsors they tried this policy.Gold Members can purchase cash points from any users account & the user who earned the money with hard work will loose as he is not Gold member.

So on ITPL --''Gold members rulez''.

Panic

Well I can't suggest you to panic cause your experience with ITPL may be diffrent than mine. I used ITPL to earn cash cuse I want to donate the money to ''Wikipedia.org'' &''Digitally imported Radio'' project To help them survive. As even single dollar counts for such community projects. But anyway I lost 13.5 Bucks in my ITPL account. When I mailed ITPL I recived no reply since 3 months. I think reason is when you want to do good things, Bad Luck welcomes you.

I'm not complaining about them but many users are satisfied with their service in past but Now Normal users will leave ITPL as thier cash will not be safe in thier account at ITPL. So what regualr users can do about thier account at ITPL? just send it to Paypal account and spend it somewhere on internet.

Earning exteral income is always good idea if it takes less time, effort. My experience wiith ITPL was good as quizzes were excellent. Only payment issue is burning.

I lost my valuable time, internet time & money, mind on this website. Anyway I'm not returning to ITPL from now on. Maybe I report this problem to ''Get paid to boycott'', https://gptboycott.com is website where you can check which website cheats with users, so before signing up on any get paid to website check that site out.

Well I'm looking for reliable ''getpaidto'' website if you know any better one than ITPL then mention it on Comment. Anyway comments and suggetions are welcome.

I joined ItPaysToLearn.com a while back and really enjoy it. The site is fast, pleasing to the eye, and easy to use.

You go to the site and sign up, which takes very little time. If you know someone that uses it sign up under them as they get credit for it.

Then all you do is log in with your user name and password and they have what you call v mail. Basically you click on each one and an ad will come up usually for about 20 seconds. When your account has been credited it will say so and you can then click on the next mail. I do this every 2-3 days and just do them all at once.

They also have quizzes to take and you must make 500 points in a month taking the quizzes to earn the money for the mail.

They have 3 stages of expertise and I usually do the beginner ones just to get through my points quickly as I do these all in one day. Then I like to take some of the harder quizzes just for fun as I feel like.

There are many categories to choose from such as the Bible, Math, Science. music and so on and your are given 10 questions with multiple choice answers. There is no timer so you can go at your own pace. If you get all 10 correct it gives you 30 points so it does not take much time at all to reach the amount you need to.

You can cash out at 50 cents or you can choose to check off to let the money build.

It really is a lot of fun and you are earning money for learning things. Granted it isn't a lot of money but I would do it anyway even if they did not pay as it is just plain fun.

I was first referred by my boss to IPTL, and have so far found it very entertaining indeed. Not normally a site that I would subscribe to, as I tend to be a bit of a skeptic, but after a quick demo by him, I was ready to give it a go. I'm relatively new to the site, having only been a member for a couple of months, but I have already made well over $10 in real money. Several work colleagues are also members, as is my girlfriend, and it's proved to be not just fun to do on your own, but also with other people. There's also competitions every month which seem to be well worth entering which can pay out large sums of money.

Another thing to note is that everything is very well explained, the help page is very explanative, and you can try some demo quizzes if you are not sure.

In all, a fantastic free to join 'earn while you learn' site that's not only entertaining, but with the right level of enthusiasm, also profitable. Hats off to IPTL

There's a little bit of a ''learning curve'' with this one, but it's well worth the effort. I've made over $200 in the last couple of months from accepting offers, taking quizzes (the fun part), and reading e-mails (a little boring but it's fast). There's also a ''gold membership'' and referral program, so pretty much something for everyone. BTW, they have recently made some big improvements. PayPal payouts happen as soon as you reach $0.50 in your account, and you get paid for your referral's and AADR's (a referral that IPTL gives you as a bonus for accepting offers) whenever they take a quiz or accept an offer. If you want to sign up through my link, I'll be happy to give you some tips. . . https://itpaystolearn.com/default.asp?ref_id=AJY004 . . . Oh, and one more thing: the customer support has been responsive and provided friendly and fast resolutions to my questions and problems. If you are the type that has a little patience and OK with earnings that may start small but ramp up over time, this is a good choice. It's also good for people interested in trials for book/DVD/CD clubs, nutritional supplements, credit cards and other offers--that's the fast way to make money.

I joined It Pays To Learn a few months ago and have found that the site is...all right. The idea is good, but it takes so many cash points to equal a dollar, and one must earn over fifty dollars in cash points to receive a payment. Unless you sign up for their Gold Service, you can only acquire so many points a month. Many of the easy and intermediate quizzes are very alike, but the advanced questions are much harder. It is best to take the intermediate quizzes because they are worth a good amount of points, but are not really very complicated.

It may not pay for long
Aug 23, 2002 12:21 AM 2576 Views

I can't remember exactly how it was I found this site, but it seemed interesting enough. I could take quizzes and get points depending on how well I did. The points didn't equate to much, but it was fun. (A thousand points equate to one U.S. dollar.) There are some things to consider, though.

The Good

Although you'll never make a lot of money on your own, you do get ten levels of referrals and that helps. Also, the site is very easy to use and navigate. There are plenty of topics and three difficulty levels to choose from. The topics reset when you've gone through all of them for that difficulty level.

The Bad

Apparently, the site is going through some difficult times and may not be able to pay for that long, but there are other alternatives. Unfortunately, some of those alternatives are under construction. They have a store, but it's not up and running right now. The only alternative is to buy advertising for your Web site if you have one.

Other things aren't working, but most of them are minor like stats from previous months. It leaves me wondering how competent their programmers are that they have gone months without repairing certain things.

Other Stuff

I'm not hoping to get anything out of this site. It's hard to find people that are interested in it and free members are limited to 4500 points every month through quizzes, but there are other things I can do like accepting offers and taking surveys. Don't think that those are too great, though. Many of the offers require payment or purchase and surveys are few and far between.

If you're looking for a way to waste time, go to IPTL. If you want to get rich, there are better things you can do.

Earn while you learn

Increase your knowledge and get paid for it. That's it in short. A wonderful site where the quizzes are classified into three categories- Beginner, Intermediate and advanced levels. There are various subjects like Science, History, Maths,Speeling, Music, Definitions, Geography etc. and you can participate as you like. You get points on completion of each quiz and you may bank them or forget them. You keep accumulating them and at the end of the month it is converted to dollars.

I am sure you will get hooked to this site, more so if you have a fast internet connection. So go ahead increase your knowledge and get paid for it.

Are you clever enough to earn money?
Jan 01, 2002 07:24 PM 3051 Views

It Pays to learn.com

This site is a work in progress, but the concept is brilliant.

The idea is you take quizzes on a variety of subjects including Anatomy and medicine, Animal Kingdom, Definitions, History, Geography, Literature and Music, and get paid for doing it.

You get paid for referrals and you can also get paid for writing quizzes.

There are prizes that they will give away randomly to members although they don’t really explain how this will work.

People who do really well on the quizzes over a reasonable length of time will be rewarded with educational scholarship cash vouchers to use for educational expenses such as college courses or home training.

Every time you take a quiz your score and the cash points that you earn are stored in the “Knowledge Bank” and they give you advice on how to reset your browser so that it does not cache your pages in its memory. This means that your knowledge bank can be updated properly.

Money you earn is paid through a paypal account although they are hoping to soon be able to pay earnings directly into your bank account.

The site is funded by advertising and sponsorship. This means that you will only get paid a percentage of the sites earnings every month.

This means that instead of your earnings being worked out the same as they are on dooyoo.

I.e. 100 miles = 10p.

It will be 100 cash points = x% of this months revenue.

I suppose it is another site that is never going to earn you millions but every little helps.

Quizzes work on a multiple-choice basis each question has three possible answers.

They are categorised into beginner, intermediate and advanced quizzes to suit your ability.

The harder the quiz you do the more cash points you will earn.

I took a spelling test at all three levels. I thought I was pretty good at spelling and the beginner and intermediate levels were fairly easy. The advanced level however had words that I couldn’t even pronounce, never mind spell.

I also took the beginner quiz in eclectica because I didn’t know what it was. Basically it means a question took at random from all the different quiz categories. I would have called it potluck.

“Edutainmint” is what they are calling what they do on this site. Education, Entertainment and Mint is the earning bit. I think this is a great word how long before it gets in the dictionary?

They are still having some problems with the site, which they are in the process of getting sorted out.

The eclectica quiz that I took didn’t register and the system logged me off because I had been inactive for over half an hour, even though during most of that time I was taking the quiz.

If they can get these kind of problems sorted out I think it will be a fantastic site which could take off in a big way.

It is certainly a more entertaining way of learning than doing courses.

It Pays! They do Pay! Let's All Play!
Nov 10, 2001 01:25 AM 3876 Views

What can I say about my favorite website itpaystolearn.com! There is simply too much to compliment them on and I will try to condense it as much as I can so that you won't have to be here reading for the next half an hour.

Itpaystolearn opened back in mid 2000 and I eagerly signed up to it and thought that the idea was great. Getting paid to play trivia, what a concept! You would learn as much as you can while earning cash. It's like going to school and getting paid.

They opened up a year later and have been functioning very well since their debut of quizzes in July of 2000. I really thought that this company would never make it because they had already waited so long to set up their systems for their members. After a year, I received an email and they had said that they were ready to go!

Anyone around the world can sign up as long as they are 13 years of age or older and you can play quizzes from Beginner, Advanced and Intermediate and accumulate points by taking a 10 question multiple choice quiz on several topics.

The most points you can get on a quiz is 50 and 625 points during September and October was worth about 1 American Dollar. I made around $23.89 for the first month and they did pay me. I have the check to prove it! https://getpaid4trivia.tripod.com

Dont forget to sign up while you are there!

They pay using paypal or by check and soon there will be an option to tell them your preference but for no, you will have to email them when you do reach your $20 minimum redemption balance.

By getting people to sign up under you, you will receive a point for each cash quiz that they get and this can add to how much money you can make! I had around 76 referrals and made about 4200 points from them. Referral points double if you achieve over 5000+ points. I got like 14,000 points in September and exploded in October for 40,000 points. The top member received almost 1,200,000 points which is like $2000 American. Thats a nice porsche for him/her pretty soon.

I strongly recommend this site to everyone who either wants to learn or wants to make a quick buck!

ITPAYSTOLEARN.COM

Introduction ~~

I’ve seen plenty of schemes on the net to earn cash. Cash for emails, cash for opinions, cash for surveys, cash for listening to the radio – the list goes on and on. But never had I seen a site paying cash for doing quizzes until I came across itpaystolearn.com on an other opinion website.

Itpaystolearn.com is a fairly new website and it is based in America but they do assure members that they will pay out to members outside of America. The wording on the website says “Payment of cash awards are in US money, but we are working on ways to get the cash awards easily and inexpensively transferred to our members in their own currencies.” That sounds quite good, so we might be able to get paid in pounds with a little bit of luck. Fingers crossed!

The Website ~~

So far I have been a bit disappointed with the reliability of the IPTL website but to be fair the IPTL hasn’t been up and running long, hopefully with time the reliability should improve. The problems I have experienced have been whilst doing a quiz the dreaded “This page cannot be displayed” pops up.

The website is simple and very plain. Though this isn’t really a bad thing as it makes it run quick and makes it very easy to find your way round. A bit of colour wouldn’t hurt though. There are few adverts on the IPTL website though as the popularity of IPTL increases I am sure there will be more banner adverts and pop-ups.

The Quizzes

There are absolutely loads of quizzes that you can take. The quizzes are divided up into over 14 different subjects and there are beginner, intermediate and advanced quizzes available for all the different subjects.

All of the quizzes are multiple choices and there are three choices. So you have a fairly good chance if your going to guess a question. One opinion on an opinion website said that a lot of the questions seem to be focused around the USA. From the quizzes I have taken I have to disagree with that though I have only done quizzes in 6 or 7 different subjects.

Money ~~

I have to confess to not actually knowing anyone who has been paid but as the site hasn’t been going long I doubt anyone has earned enough points to be paid yet but I will update the opinion as soon as I have been paid. IPTL pay you for the quizzes you do in points. They pay:

1 point for each attempted but wrong answer.

3 points for each correct beginner answer.

4 points for each correct intermediate answer.

5 points for each correct advanced answer.

IPTL operate a points system so your points will be worth more or less depending on how IPTL does in revenues each month. At the end of each month IPTL will calculate the amount of points you have earned during that month and then convert them into cash. So I will find out at the end of the month how much each of those points are worth, fingers crossed it isn’t $0.00000000001 or something stupid like that. Will update the opinion once I know. IPTL pay out once you have reached $20, that’s roughly £14 but remember a British bank will charge you to cash an American cheque.

Overall ~~

From what I’ve sent IPTL looks very promising. The site doesn’t seem dodgy. They did not ask for loads and loads of details which gives the impression they might be selling them. They do not say that you must refer so many members to earn cash. Though they do have a referral service which if you want to earn cash the quickest way is through referring people. Overall I like IPTL and I do not think it is a scam, fingers crossed it isn’t a scam.

Thanks for reading

Cheers

James

I stumbled across itpaystolearn.com a few months ago and

decided to get in on the action. They have recently started

displaying cash quizzes. They allow individuals of any age,

any sex, and any country to participate in this worthwhile

possibility.

Quizzes are all ten question, and you get points for each and

every question you do answer. You earn more points if you answer

the question right, but even if you do not, you still earn points.

Also, dependant on the difficulty of the quiz, more points

are rewarded for more complicated questions. Originally there

were just basic quizzes.(Available in amateur, intermediate,

and expert) Quizzes such as Science, Geography, Definitions,

and Mathematical. Just recently they have added thousands

of more quizzes, and as they say thousands of more in the future.

Since there are so many quizzes, and so many questions, its

up to you to make the points. They have an excellent referral

system, called the IPTL 10-GEN Referral Network Plan, which

is pretty decent in itself. This basically means your referrals

go ten levels deep with you still getting a small percentage.

Example, you refer 10 they each refer 3, those three refer another

three, and so on till ten levels. If you have a mediocre website

or have lots of friends, you can make alot of points, even

if each person only takes a few quizzes a day or every second

day. And as they say, ''PLEASE NO SPAMMING''

Spamming is using mass email to gain referrals. So just don't

do it at all, or you could be kicked out of the program.

A cash point, last month anyways, was worth roughly $0.001.

Does not sound like much, but with lots of active referrals

if could add up. Dont kid yourself, you are not likely to make

thousands a month (unless you have thousands of referrals) but

you can make enough coin to make it worth while. And as always

with time, more people will join, and I can guarantee each point

will be worth more money, as advertisers will pay more for

each advertisement to be seen.

Another good thing about IPTL is that it allows you to retake

quizzes as often as you have patience for. They are also

soon introducing surveys that you will earn points for. Random

prizes will also be awarded to quiz takers. Another great

incentive is that you actually learn while you earn.

In conclusion this website will only get better. With the

growing downline, and growing advertiser interest, everything

will improve. Points will be worth more, and more quizzes

will be added. JUST HAVE FUN EARNING WHILE YOU LEARN!

Happy Quiz Taking

Easy Money!!!

If you can answer some really dumb questions then you can start making money right away from this site. Of course if you can answer some more difficult questions then you can start making a little more money and a little faster. Interested? Of course you are...

Itpaystolearn.com is a new(ish) site which invites you to take quizzes on teh site in order to receive cash for doing so. There are a large number of categories organised into beginner, intermediate and advanced levels and all you have to do is choose one, choose a category from such things like Science, Books, The Animal Kingdom and its away you go. You'll be asked 10 questions and will receive points for the number of correct answers you give. These points are totalled up into a $$$ value at the end of the month and you are renumerated appropriately. As it stands the payouts were actually quite good for the last two months considering all you are doing is answering quizzes so it definitely would be worth your while to take a look.

Its an American site so expect a payout in US Dollars, but they are paying worldwide from what I can gather so its worth giving a go. Registration is simple and non-intrusive and they do not try to bombard you with ads which may be a surprise. You can also earn more money from taking surveys, receiving emails, writing your own quizzes and from refering other members to the site using your membership code. Referalls are probably the way forward as usual if you want to make a fair amount of money, but even so $20-$30 a month isn't a problem without these if you put some effort in - with them, who knows.

The site itself is rather dull in design, just simple text on a white background, no flashy graphics or anything which is odd when you consider you are taking quizzes - should be more fun right? Well, anyway, the quizzes themselves are multiple choice and expect you to select the answer by picking a radio button...very cheaply done. Pages ought to load quickly then considering, but they do not. Sometimes its a real problem because they lag like crazy and the fun drains away.

Basically if you like quizzes then you'll like this site. You get to take quizzes AND get paid for thm, like being on a gameshow without the plummet in street cred. Check it out, it could be worth your while.

Quizzling - Updated
Aug 27, 2001 08:51 AM 3278 Views

++ UPDATE ++

With the coming of the end of August all the points gained by members have been converted into real cash and each member’s account has been credited with the appropriate amount.

Since 25th August 2001, the evening of my joining, I have accumulated 4,130 cash points and these have equated to $6.64. This works out at 0.1607748 cents per cash point, which is roughly 0.1p. (one tenth of a penny)

As a rough guide 5,000 cash points will generate $8 (about £5) so during a month a person could easily clock up 25,000 cash points or about $40 (£25) – just for answering a few questions correctly. Verb sap!

++ END OF UPDATE ++

Everyone loves a quiz so that we can show our nearest and dearest just how clever we are, but few of us ever get the opportunity to show off our knowledge prowess publicly, let alone get paid for it. The lucky few will take part in a variety of TV quizzes and quiz nights at the local pub but for the rest of us our only reward is the admiring glances at home. My son’s dog Barney thinks that I’m a genius. So fear not you clever mortals for your chance is nigh. Log onto https://itpaystolearn.com and answer as many questions as you have time for AND get some money for doing so.

Launched during the last week of July 2001 the home page is clean and bright and needs little comment from me other than to say it is easy to find your way around. It has to be because this site is for everybody as children of 12 and under can join. Then again kids under 12 are more adept at this computer lark than us apprentice geriatrics so maybe the simplicity is for the 13 and older group. Even groups of any size can join in the fun and a group is classed as two or more members one of whom must be over 18 years of age. Signing up is as simple as giving a few personal details and selecting a password although your user name is allocated by them but only after you have read and accepted the General Membership Agreement, which are comprehensive but reasonably fair. So how does it all work? The simplest way to find out is to access the site at https://itpaystolearn.com and click on the How IPTL Works link. But in a nutshell a member can select which set of questions to answer and gain cash points for trying to answer each one and more cash points for getting a question right.

The quizzes come in varying degrees of difficulty and a variety of subjects and the more difficult the question the more cash points for a correct answer AND you can re-take a quiz so if you get an answer wrong make a note of the correct answer for when you retake the quiz. For instance; you gain 1 cash point for attempting to answer any question, 3 cash points for a correct answer in the Beginner level, 4 cash points in the Intermediate level and 5 cash points in the Advanced level. There is no limit to the number of quizzes that a member can take part in and it would appear that you can take the same quiz many times and gain points for doing so. At least it doesn’t say that you can’t. It is money for old rope although before your eyes glaze over with thoughts of Caribbean holidays and new cars you will only gain pocket money. But hey! It’s for free so don’t look a gift horse in the mouth and you can increase your knowledge as well. Yesterday I tried the Beginners general knowledge quiz of 10 questions, some of which were, what is 5 + 7? On which continent is Egypt? Which is the largest planet in our solar system? How easy can they get? The only hard question was one about some American baseball player. Can’t expect us English to know those sort of questions, but then you can re-take the quiz.

I suppose that the reader is now wondering how much is a cash point worth and the answer is it will vary from month to month as it will depend on the site’s monthly revenue (after operating costs etc.) and how many cash points have been ‘won’ by all the members. In simplistic terms if the disposable month’s revenue is say $10,000 and all the members accrued 1,000,000 cash points between them for that month, each cash point would be worth 1c. $10,000 is equal to 1,000,000 cents so as it is spread over 1,000,000 cash points each point is worth 1c. Don’t take these figures as fact as it is only just an example. Once a member has accumulated $20 worth of cash points they can get their hands on the dosh in a variety of methods so us foreigners will be OK. There are other ways of earning cash points, those being by referrals, taking part in surveys, receiving sponsor e-mails and so forth.

They have lots of additions planned for the future as outlined in the How IPTL Works page, so go and read it. The referral system is quite complicated so I won’t bother to try and explain it here but that’s only because it baffles me at the moment. Maybe one day I will be able to understand how it all works but for now I’m just accepting things. So all you quiz buffs go take a look, show the world how knowledgeable you are and earn a bit of pocket money at the same time.

We'll See if It Pays To Learn
Aug 12, 2001 09:20 PM 2723 Views

Like several others here, I joined It Pays To Learn before the ''cash quizzes'' started in late July. For a good over view of the site, please check out the reviews written by Pete and Mike24. I thought it would be more useful to add my experiences with using the site over the past few weeks, than to review again the basics.

The Cash Quizzes finally started on July 24. There were several promised start dates prior to that. Each time there was a delay, there was an explanation posted on the site's main page. In the meantime, you were able to take some demo quizzes to learn how to use the site. In the first few days of the cash quizzes, there were many, many glitches. Halfway through a quiz, there would be an error message and that quiz would be lost. Users were encouraged to report these glitches via email. My emails were responded to promptly. To make up for these problems, any user who accumulated 350 points in July was credited an extra 200 points. It took several days to get the statistical system -aka-the Active Stats going. And several more to get the Retake quizzes (more about this below) active. The Knowledge Bank-which shows total accumulated points including those from referrals-finally came on last week. As is explained in the TOS, this site pays a percentage of revenues. For the short month of July, the site paid .15 cents per cash point. With about 1500 points from quizzes and 3 referrals (two being my husband and son) I made $2.39. My son with 550 points and no referrals made just over a dollar. You have to accumulate $20. to be paid so I can't speak to promptness of payment. The site promised payment by check or pay pal by August 15.

The cash quizzes, as described in other reviews, are at three levels. The higher the level, the more points for each correct answer. There is also a retake quizzes option. In the retakes, you are presented only with questions you have previously missed. The theory being you will then ''learn'' something new. Both my husband and I have done well in the intermediate and advanced quizzes in our preferred categories. Our 9 year old has better than a 70% average in the beginner area. So far, so good! BUT, we are all running out of quizzes to take that are challenging. There are only 6-10 quizzes in each topic at each level so far. There is also some repetition of questions within these.

The site is actively looking for individuals to write questions and will pay 25-50 cents per question set (question with possible answers). We are considering this, but not sure if we will follow through because a commitment of at least 300 sets would be required. This would seem to be ideal for teachers who are already used to formulating questions. The information for prospective writers is informative. In addition to listing proposed topics, it reviews it's definition of the levels in detail.

Bottom line, I hope this site works out. It's a great way for kids to review basic concepts. Also, for the rest of us, many studies show that the brain like very other part of us needs ''exercise''. The money would be a nice little reward but more important will be the addition of more questions and topics to hold the user's interest.

Addendum August 26---So far IPTL is keeping it's promises. New quizzes have been added and users are now only shown categories that have quizzes available.(specific to that user-once you have done all the available quizzes, the category disappears)

Cash in on your brain!

I joined this a week ago, and used it twice, then said, for what? This is ridiculous. All they want is for us to click on the banners look>

Their website says,

The total of all Cash Points earned each month will then be calculated in relation to that month's revenues and translated into a specific cash value per each Cash Point for that month, and reported in the Knowledge Bank of each member within a day or two following the end of each month. (word said long sentence, so it is not just I) (Double-talk) In this way all active members will share in IPTL’s success. The better IPTL does in revenues each month, the more valuable each member’s Cash Points will be.

The money goes into a pool. So if there is one cent left. That is what we share in. Believe me all they are doing is pandering to our intellectual prowess in the guise of taking us for a ride.

I answered questions, was okay, no work. Then I was like, what the heck, all this time spent here and no degree? This was getting ugly! LOL

The site is a joke! Look at the flashing light hanging over the tag for Half.com. Sure they pay you Points for getting Half.com and other sponsors hits. This is basic in marketing.

All I can say is paying for advertising works. And if you have a business and want a banner on there, they will get the real money first, believe that.

Maybe the name should have been, Cash Your Brain In at the Door!

Earn While You Learn , thro' this Site !
Aug 02, 2001 02:26 AM 4510 Views

http://www.ItPaysToLearn.com is the site I'm talking about! This site opens very fast! It looked simple and sweet! Navigation also is very easy! Here, you can earn, while you learn.Adults or children, anybody can join.

As the first step in joining IPTL, (It Pays To Learn.com), you have to read the General Membership Agreement. Then, click on the I Agree bar below if you agree with all of the terms, conditions and policies of IPTL. Your membership registration will then continue. If you do not agree, simply click on the I Do Not Agree bar and your membership registration process will be terminated.

There is a Sponsor Kit,if you are interested in potentially being an IPTL advertising sponsor. IPTL is fun for everyone, but it’s also educational. So, if you’re considering being associated with a very worthwhile site, this is the site for you.

ItPaysToLearn.com (IPTL) is the exciting new website that pays its members of all ages for learning lots of interesting things. The fun and the learning happens through short interactive 10-question quizzes on a variety of subjects and at three knowledge levels, which I have given below.

At the Demo Quiz section, there are some demo quizzes just for fun. Each quiz has 10 questions and 3 possible answers. You'll have 30 seconds to choose an answer. You can click any part of an answer to select it. You can also change your answer before you submit it. Members can take quizzes like these for cash!

You can select a subject under one of the levels for the quizzes. Beginner, Intermediate , Advanced. The subjects offered for quiz are,

Animal Kingdom, Bible, Definitions, Famous words,Geography, History, Literature,Math, Music, Science, Songs & Rhymes,

Spelling and Sports.

Eventually other types of educational challenges will be offered it seems. IPTL is for everyone from children to senior citizens, and even teachers and professors. It is completely free for everyone because it is supported entirely by advertising sponsors. Currently IPTL is available worldwide in the English language only, but in the future they hope to off in other languages as well.

You learn a lot of things while you’re having fun, and you get paid to do it! They call the IPTL concept Edutainmint (an interesting mixture of Education, Entertainment, and...you guessed it...the earnings are the mint part).

In addition to the regular monthly cash for quizzes there are lots of valuable prizes which will be given away randomly to members, as well as larger cash merit awards in the form of educational scholarship, cash vouchers which will be bestowed on those having exceptionally high quality stats with IPTL.

The cash scholarship awards may be used by the recipients or even given away to others, so you can help yourself or someone else with education expenses at any recognized institution of any level, even private school or home school. It seems their Hall of Fame will feature their top performing IPTL members.

Let's see how you earn cash with IPTL. As a member you’ll be paid one Cash Point for your attempt to answer each quiz question, whether you get the answer right or not. But you’ll always receive more for getting the correct answer. Each level of difficulty pays you progressively more for every correct answer. This will encourage you to attempt quizzes at the highest level for which you are suited. Each correct answer in the Beginner level pays you three Cash Points, Intermediate level pays four Cash Points, and Advanced level pays five Cash Points.

With IPTL you are paid to learn lots of things you don’t know, and even more if you already know them. So you always come out ahead either way!

You can earn even more cash by answering sponsor surveys when they are available, but this is completely optional. Each survey will have its own Cash Point value which will be displayed before you decide whether or not to take the survey. You can also sign up to recieve sponsor emails for even more points.

One of the most exciting earnings features of IPTL is the ten generation (10-GEN) Referral Network for bonus cash. Referring others is optional, but if you choose to refer others to IPTL, and they refer others, you can receive lots of referral Cash Points based on the activity of ten full generations of referrals! So, it is possible to earn a lot of cash each month if your Referral Network is large and stays very active.

You can get busy passing the word now and building up your Referral Network. You can track your referral stats and the names of your direct referrals at all times. It is also important not to bother people who aren’t interested.

When and how will you receive your cash?

Following each month’s Cash Point computations, IPTL earnings will be delivered as promptly as possible to all those members who have accumulated at least $20 in their Knowledge Bank. If there isn’t at least $20 in a member’s Knowledge Bank yet, the earnings will continue to build up until they reach $20 or more, and then the earnings will be delivered.

Earnings may be delivered to members by more than one method. IPTL can mail checks, cash which can be delivered through various online systems such as PayPal, and bank accounts can be directly credited. More information on the various options for receiving cash earnings will be made available to each member before the first earnings are ready to be distributed. Members will be given an opportunity to choose their payment method from those available to them.

They are also going to add a highly graphical earn-while-you-learn section for small children. It is in the planning stages. As soon as possible they intend adding real-time action Head to Head competition between individuals, groups and schools all over the world, as well as other exciting new features.

Are you ready to Cash in on your brain and Earn while you learn?

Finally, I joined here and have already started having fun! This is a nice site to check out and have fun.You not only have fun, but earn at the same time for learning.Anyway, as Abbey feels, we have to wait and see regarding their payment as it may take a long time! Still, tell me, who else will pay you for your learning? Is it not the other way round?

JRO26 wrote a wonderful and complete review on the site: ItPaystolearn.com Therefore I will not go into further detail. I only wanted to say it is sooo much fun to take the quizzes. The questions on level 1 are relatively easy but as you progress through the other levels the difficulty increases. This is an intellectual challenge.

I joined only a week ago and have been having so much fun I suggest you try it for yourself. Signing up is very easy and the questions are certainly doable. Don't be afraid to try.. you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Have fun!

It Pays To Learn ? - YES IT DOES
Jul 26, 2001 10:15 AM 4658 Views

Do you enjoy learning ? Do you enjoy showing off your knowledge? Do you enjoy taking quizzes ? Would you enjoy all this and getting paid for it ? If you answered yes, take a look at the following website: https://itpaystolearn.com I have been a patient member since June, 2000 and just day before yesterday (July 24, 2001) they finally went ''live'' and are now paying members to take quizzes. It is very easy to sign up for and simple to navigate.

They keep track of all your completed quizzes and award points for answering questions and additional points for answering them correctly. Their scale is:

1 point for each attempted but incorrect answer

3 points for correct answers in the ''Beginners'' category 4 points for correct answers in the ''Intermediate'' category

5 points for correct answers in the ''Advanced'' category

Point values will be determined at the end of the month and are based on the sites' generated cash revenues. They promise, in the near future, paying e-mails from sponsors and paying surveys. Cash out is at a reasonable US$20.00. Some of the quiz categories offered are Bible, Sports, Geography, Music, Science, Spelling, History, Anatomy & Medicine, Famous Words, etc. As of now, they are ''international'' but only offer the site in English.

You can sign up under one of the following groups: Child (12 and under), Adult (13 and older) or as a Group (any size). The quizzes are tailored to your sign-up. You will also get a percentage for referrals. If you sign up, I would appreciate your signing under my referral: AAE731 All-in-all, itpay$tolearn is a fun (and hopefully profitable) diversion. Got a few minutes ? Feeling smart ? Go ahead, take a quiz and get paid for it too !
