My mom aged 78 years has a SB and Deposit account with ICICI bank, Kerala Branch. Her deposit amount got matured on 5th of Oct 2019. As she wanted that money before Diwali, I took her to HSR Layout branch on 3rd of Oct 2019. Since then it is 20 days now, she has not been able to get back her Senior Citizen deposit back and Diwali is at the doorstep now.
From the first week of October onwards their Server was down, and we could not make the account active from inactive state. Further, worse than a govt office, they made us visit the branch atleast 5 times more, giving us multiple forms to sign(Not everything is giving in one visit).
I personally have 11 relationships with ICICI bank( SB, Demat, Insurance, HL) and was totally astonished by the cold response of the staff at ICICI, HSR Layout staff at Bangalore.
Seeing these staffs unprofessionalism, I decided to raise a complaint and surprisingly there has been no response to two complaints which I raised on line from Complaints and Compliments.
Their greivance form never gets downloaded and the page is never up to submit a physical form.
A bank I've trusted for all these years have now broken my trust and i'm surprised to realise the state of affairs when it come to treatment of Senior Citizen's account and towards escalation and complaints! Pathetic and unprofessional is the state of affairs, which I had to experience in these two instances
