Fraud by ICICI bank in the name of ECS (ECSRTNCHG)

ICICI bank is deducting money wrongly in the name of ECS charges. I have done ECS through paytm money for buying 5 mutual funds - 6K each on 12th september. 1 was successful & 4 failed. For 4 failed ECS ICICI deducted INR 413 four times on 16th sept. I called to call center & requested for money reversal. The girl which whom I interacted first confirmed that she will be be able to done reversal for only 2 incident so she connected me to her manager. The manager assured me that out of 4, 3 will be reversed. But now when I am checked my account again I found that ICICI deducted my money 7 times: 4 times INR 413 & 3 times INR 472. Total money deducted from my account is INR 3068 for INR 24000 ECS tranaction failed.


After multiple try I have not received my money, everytime you need to tell the bank same story. Why the money was deducted 7 times. If reversal agreed why it is not done.


I am uploading the Paytm money transaction failed snap & statement of ICICI bank. It is obvious that ECS charges of deducted wrongly.

Lethargy and unprofessionlism at job at ICICI HSR

My mom aged 78 years has a SB and Deposit account with ICICI bank, Kerala Branch. Her deposit amount got matured on 5th of Oct 2019. As she wanted that money before Diwali, I took her to HSR Layout branch on 3rd of Oct 2019. Since then it is 20 days now, she has not been able to get back her Senior Citizen deposit back and Diwali is at the doorstep now.


From the first week of October onwards their Server was down, and we could not make the account active from inactive state. Further, worse than a govt office, they made us visit the branch atleast 5 times more, giving us multiple forms to sign(Not everything is giving in one visit).


I personally have 11 relationships with ICICI bank( SB, Demat, Insurance, HL) and was totally astonished by the cold response of the staff at ICICI, HSR Layout staff at Bangalore.


Seeing these staffs unprofessionalism, I decided to raise a complaint and surprisingly there has been no response to two complaints which I raised on line from Complaints and Compliments.


Their greivance form never gets downloaded and the page is never up to submit a physical form.


A bank I've trusted for all these years have now broken my trust and i'm surprised to realise the state of affairs when it come to treatment of Senior Citizen's account and towards escalation and complaints! Pathetic and unprofessional is the state of affairs, which I had to experience in these two instances

Worst experience

NRI customer of the bank for over 25 years I have decided to move out of this bank due to the worst service quality and absolutely no response. They don't even respond due to which I have been unable to make a transaction for more than a month. They don't put any effort to resolve the issue either. Their system migration at the back end would change mobile numbers at random, where I'm supposed to get OTP's and so has been my experience with their system generated dummy email id's which don't exist. Stay off

Fking idiots your call center is not toll free and when the call gets connected it suddenly gets disconnected can you give back those 5 to 10 min where I had waited bleedy morans.

Very bad experience with icici salary and loan acct at the time of opening sal acct they just signed the document and not intimated that they are also opening dmat and lombard acct After a year when money was deducted from acct i asked to executive what's abt it then he told u also have dmat acct i told them I never requested this he told u signed doc and spoke roodly they selling their product without informing customers to meet their target Then again for laon acct they told roi 12 but while disbursed it was 18 when I asked again told you signed document that are trying to earn money in this way when we miss any payment they send third party person at home and they are like don dont have manners also when I gone for closure the lady in bundgarden asked me to pay even if 50 paisa in acct which is very bad and they shown me closure stmt of extra amountstill i paid those then again I got the letter via mail and that have interest not waived even if preclosure request they just shown deduction and again added in principal due and when I asked they are not responding so i would suggest all never go with icici

Worst Bank.

This is the worst Bank I ever experienced, with no fng customer care service. They turned on Auto-Debit automatically when they give you a credit card and even though you pay manually they will again deduct the bill amount from your account.


They have no intentions of caring for their customers, I tried calling the customer care service for almost a week and never get a chance to speak with any of the executives. But they call me 20 times a day from the sales department to buy their nonsense services.


I post my complaint on Mail and I haven't got any replies except the automated replies.


I suggest never use this bank they are frauds in the name of legal bank

ICICI Bank -


I am one of the loyal user of icici since last 7 years. I have been using payment gateway of eazypay


This is the second time this incidence has happened where my Rs 4.44 lakhs stuck ( transaction date is 9th may and it has crossed time line) and there is no clarity. In a day I wrote multiple mails and none of have integrity to acknowledge and give an update on my money.


Really disgusting behaviour from such a so called big bank, worst service and worst customer relationship I have come forward ever ??????????

Hi everybody,


I have been using Icici Bank service for 3 years.I started a savings account on December 13 th , 2016.Actually I was a customer of SBI, due to some issues I changed my wallet to Icici bank. I wanted a bank account for connect to PayPal but SBI would not support to PayPal and international transaction .But Icici bank provided that feature .I started a savings account in icici bank for connect to PayPal.


But I was very disappointed with the icici Bank services.They deducting my money unnecessary.They cut many charges .If you deposit 100 rupees on your wallet, they will deduct your money for life insurance plan, one assist plan, Gst, Atm card and many more with in one month your balance will fall to zero.I had experience like this.Too much charges deduction. I am frustrated with this service.if they will continue like this definitely I will quit from icici Bank.


Once they activated one assist plan for me without my permission.They deducted 1887rs for that one year plan without my knowledge and permission.I called to icici bank then I said one assist plan activated in my account without my permission.They said they do not know about that.They didn't refund my money.That much fraud they are.They don't know customer dealing.They are not professional. please beware everyone . I will give 0.5 out five for their worst service.

Charge 4 MoneyManager 4 3yrs + Closure is Headache

Charge 4 MoneyManager without subscribing for 3yrs. I never subscribed for it. Also they charged non-maintenance charge for a couple of years - and it is a headache to get account closed, you have to go to branch and use online customer care for different purposes like demat closure, trading closure, account closure etc.

ICICI Bank sucks the blood of Consumer-

Myself Mr. Adarsh has owned the Corporate Account in South Extension Part-2(Branch Code-0396), New Delhi-110049. Yesterday i.e 10th March, 2019 at 7:42 p.m received the message that INR 47889 was debited through Amazon Pay. However, I did not done any transaction on Amazon and anywhere else. Neither I did got any OTP for that. How its possible without any bank involvement. At that moment I had immediately blocked my card and netbanking. I had also called Amazon Customer care and raised the concern. He has told me that one HP Laptop has been purchased from the card. I have lodged the formal complaint with the Cyber Cell Delhi police on 10th March, 2019 at 11:45 pm. On 11th March I have visited the South Extension, Part-2 branch. I had met and executive at Sr. Citizen Counter and told him that about the same situation. Later he requested to meet with Ms. Shivani(Counter no-6) and she ignored completely, then executive somehow managed to fill the customer dispute form and remaining docs required. Later I had visited the Deputy Branch Manager Ms. Shweta Shetty and she was so irritated over the staff and she did not listen any concern to us. She has misbehaved with us as well as own staff. She asked us to stand outside of her cabin. Such a humiliating behaviour by a senior staff which is not expected. I was in very trouble and she misbehaved so badly. She shouted on us and told me explicitly that I will never take any action that, call to customer care only. If ICICI Bank think that we are very big Bank, then please remember that you people are getting the salary because of us only. Mr. Sunil(Wealth Manager) also shouted on us and ask to leave the bank immediately. I will go to consumer court as well RBI. Will teach you a great lesson. Don't worry. For opening the account, you people call us 100 times and when the problem occurs then you people have bullshit faces and attitude. I have to travel 25 km to visit your branch and you did not listen to us. Such a bad service provider you are. How can you approve the transaction without any OTP. This is the great question mark on you and security department. I will raise my concern to RBI also.

Fraud case mishandling

I have a current account with the bank. There were fraudulent transactions on my account 3 weeks ago. This is my feedback about their handling of such a serious situation.


Pathetic sluggish service, you have to remind them and escalate the matter to get a response. My 2nd level investigation hasn't got a response even after 10 days.


Joke of an investigation, they say that they will investigate and finally send a nonsensical one line answer which I was aware of even before their investigation. Some genius minds are employed to carry out this farce.


Customer service agents have no clue of what they are doing. The card was blocked, I was told to visit the branch for any updates by one rep and when I got angry, the other rep gave me information based on my account number and other details


Branch staff is least bothered. They will not look into the matter even if you write them emails or call them


Idiotic alerts policy - This has been confirmed both by customer service and branch staff, that they will not send you sms alerts if the transactions are below 5000, this means someone can steal 4999 daily and you will not have a clue


I repent opening an account.cant wait to move it elsewhere

ICICI Homeloan - worst experience

I have requested for my original share certificate for endorsement of my name by my building society on 21.12.2018. I have not received the same till date. I have submitted at Ghatkopar ICICI Home Loan branch. People at Ghatkopar Home Loan Branch not responding properly. Also no proper response through telephonic customer care.


My request number are SR593568766 and SR595410335.


I have another home loan from another bank, they are so good as compare to ICICI. I am having the worst experience with ICICI Home Loan Department.

The services provided in the websites are amazing.We donot even have to go to branch as we can ger all our request fulfilled then and there itself.


The depth of information that is being provided is laudable as each and every nuances and info is available and you can download it


The content material contains lots of option. One should have a brief knowledge of banking to surf in it.


The interface is clear and every details is precisely provided.I donot know but the time that it took to load was a bit on the higher side.I donot know it was because of website or my net connection.

Absolutely Best Bank

I have been a customer of ICICI bank and as per my experience, I would say, they provide very good customer service.


For most of the purposes you won’t even need to visit any bank branch unless you plan to deposit cash into your account.


The internet banking and mobile banking service are one of the best among the Indian banks as they are more user friendly.


The bank staff(like I have my account in Aundh(PUNE), Laxmi market(Miraj) and Dhamani Branch(Sangli) are very courteous and the best thing is the bank is never crowded(I never seen any).


The only limitations I saw is, they are charging heavy bank interest for non maintenance of balance, cheque bounce etc then any other bank.


I am loyal customer of ICICI bank since 2012 and was having Salary Account and now saving A/c and Current Account.

Fraud Bank cuts unnecessary charges

Kindly read this review if you want to open an account at ICICI Bank. A Friend of mine is currently going through a very bad experience with this ICICI Bank Udaipur. We were there to open an account which was of minimum 10000 rs of balance so we agreed and opened an account. Then these employees told me to open an RD free of cost and will automatically close it after a month without cutting any charges so we agreed and signed the document which was the only mistake we did we realised later. Then they started cutting charges every month and my minimum balance started decreasing which started another process of cutting off charges because of non maintenance of minimum balance. And when we talked to the employees and management regarding the reversal of charges and submitted the application for the same as well, still the matter wasn't resolved and they continued to create problems for us and kept on cutting charges. Now after several weeks of trouble, the manager says to us, that please withdraw the remaining balance out of an ATM otherwise there would be more charges cut out of your account. This is a completely honest and genuine review if ICICI Bank Udaipur. They don't care about their customers who are honest and hard working people of this country and is developing on our hard earned money. Bloody frauds.

Callous forex services by ICICI BANK

Icici Forex team


Booked forex card on 24th Dec- 8am through internet banking . It indicates it will be delivered in 2 working days . Got the message and mail saying the same.


Its 27th Dec 12.15 pm but still not delivered . Icici forex team said it might be delivered on 28th Dec .


Plz do not make fake commitment to customers if you cannot meet it . As a customer i loose trust and might discontinue my relation with bank.


Money was deducted from my a/c immidiately but icici team dont bother to reply my mails sent below . When i finally called yesterday i was being told it will be delivered on 28th Dec.


So callous and unacceptable attitude of banking team.


Left with no choice but to raise this mal practise of fooling customer to CONSUMER COURT and concerned RBI.

Working of icici bank

I had ICICI BANK in very high esteem unless I visited their Sec-18, NOIDA Branch in Nov.2018 for some DMAT work. I found the behavior of staff at their branch very bad. There is no body to heed to your complaint in this regard. The Relation Manager(RM) to whom your account is assigned is no help to you. Even the advice given to me regarding investment resulted in loss. I am mentally so down that I can not visit the branch again.

Easy to understand and smooth for banking operations. Very quick service with less efforts


Immidieat action on ATM lost, Change Pin, quick payee adding and last but not least stop payment incase froud.


Surb application for mobile user


In case of lots mobile nobody can use easily

I am the customer of icici bank from 2012 this month i.e 4th oct 2018 I have made within icici bank money transfer but while entering ac no 2 digit are swaps, but name which I have enter of client neither system showed wrong nor asked for branch no and transaction got successful. then I noted that I have entered wrong no so I called customer care and ask for help they said visit nearest branch they will help out u to get refund your money. on next day I visited Aurangabad's main branch of icici bank. they took my return complaint on 5th oct 2018 and said there is 50- 50 chance to get refund in this case. whereas I have done within ICICI Bank money transfer means the money received by other person is also same bank customer. neither they have shared complaint reference no with me nor shared any TAT for complaint resolution.


being a such big bank customer expected good and helpful support but in my case they clearly told that there is no chance to get resolution. I am really disappointed with ICICI BANK customer relation team and tele customer care.


please help to resolve the issue

This is a great app for basic stuff like checking balance across different accounts. The app is excellent to manage your bank account. Fund transfer is awesome as within 30 min you can transfer money to another bank account after adding bank details. You can get details transactions statement at any time through mobile app. Transaction sms service is very good as compared with other bank mobile app. You can easily activate and deactivate debit card temporary through imobile app of the bank.
