Disappointed and frustrated

Absolutely awful customer support uninformed unacceptable and unprofessional people dealing with queries with no empathy for customers who are facing difficulties with their deliveries. Have ruined my wedding and one of the most important events in my life will not be buying from them anymore. Warning do not pre-order from them they will never deliver your product on time.

False Promises

While the stuff they sell in itself is good, Forest Essentials is most notorious in employing snooty, inefficient front office staff. They told me I had Rs 2000 points to use but gave me the wrong last date. I was travelling so wasn't able to get there earlier in time period.


While admitting they made a mistake, they said I still had to forfeit the points! inspite of being a loyal customer in the same shop for many years!


It was also the careless way they spoke and so snooty too that made me mad enough to report the incident!

Quality very poor for the price

Their products are very costly and the quality does not stand up. Average price products are better than this. I bought a tint it became dry within few months and I did not get a refund. They were rejecting my claim even though I purchased at thier showroom. not worth it. go ahead if you want to get cheated. scam!

Soundarya Night Cream & TERRIBLE customer support

Terrible customer service on eligible return options. They go back and forth in email, bordering condescending behaviors and incorrect statements. The soundarya night cream is harsh and not meant for sensitive skin. They dared to ask for a doctors RX to “examine the situation” after several emails explaining the simple issue. They just don’t want to honor their Return policy (which is not available for full review). Do not buy products from them unless you’re 100% certain you want them. I will not be a repeat customer. Spend $300+ and they’ve lost me.

Unprofessional Attitude and Shoddy Products!

Your store manager , dheeraj at gk1 m block market is extremely rude and has misbehaved with me when i tried explaining that the lipstick I had bought was a defective product..not only that when i asked for an escalation point, he refused to give me the number and hung up on me...uncalled behavior and its shocking to have such a bad after service by brand as huge as you! When escalated to Forestessentials Helpdesk, they refuse to share an escalation point and after several follow ups just mentioned that they have contacted the store and that the store will not do anything! They haven’t even bothered speaking to me to understand the issue!! Unprofessional attitude and shoddy products!

I have no issues with their products. I have been a customer for over 8 years now and never had an issue. This is the only time I requested them to credit my points towards my purchase but even after exchanging few emails, they were not able to credit my points because they cannot merge accounts. I requested them to credit it to my Soundarya rewards card but even then they didn't. Hence I had to come here to write about it.


This is not what I expected from FE. I do not understand why is it a big deal to credit points on my loyalty card if I placed an order from another email address? I paid 10k towards my purchase. Why should I lose my loyalty points on this purchase? This is insane!

Extremely disappointed

I recently purchased several products from Forest Essentials India and I am extremely disappointed with the quality of their products. The packaging was shoddy and the products inside were not as described on the website. The face cream I purchased did not have any visible effects on my skin and the body wash had a strong chemical smell that was not pleasant. Additionally, the customer service was terrible. When I contacted them about my issues, I received no response. I would not recommend this brand to anyone and would advise others to stay away from their products.

Fragrance is not what I was sold in store.

I bought this product from Forest Essentials - Delhi International Airport store. Store rep told me about this perfume and asked me to try. I took a baby pea size sample and rubbed on my wrist and oh boy! smell was divine and was sold on the spot. I could smell the fragrance even after 6-7 hours.


Reached Australia and first thing I did was to open the packaging and applied on my wrist and honestly smell was no way near. I know a brand of such an amazing reputation will not do anything like this, but it is what it is. I feel cheated. It costed me nearly 70 AUDs.

No way to contact customer support

Do not order anything from Forest Essentials website, they have no customer support. Their chat is just a ruse to frustrate customers, no one ever responds to the messages on the charm same is the case with call, it'll never connect you to a customer care executive at all. The bell will ring a few times and the call will be disconnected. You'll be left feeling helpless.

I really dispointed with forest essential product.... It's completely ft waste of money.... I got reaction on my face... My skin is peeling badly and becoming dry after useing this cream.... And got flaky face.. I bought saundeaya and sanjeevni and sunscreen lotion.... In that cream is not good....

Hi Admin,


Wanted to post this as wanted to warn other mothers.


So my sister sent me the whole forest essential baby products kit for my new born as she wanted me to use herbal products. And my sister is an ardent follower of forest essential and it's products.


Am attaching a picture for all the products she got .


So I thought let's use the body wash as doctor recommended that we give baby a bath and use soap.


To my shock , after one use of this so called natural and herbal body wash with no chemicals caused such a horrible allergy to my baby, he had swollen hands and feet and a bad rash all over. We had to rush him to the doctor as he was so much in pain . Poor thing was on antibiotic drops for 3 days to recover from it .


When I asked the doctor he told me it's from the body wash we used as that's the only external product we used and told us he has never seen such a severe reaction.


Now very scared to use the other products she has sent like powder, massage oils etc.


Just a word of caution, these Newer brands spend a lot on marketing and look of the product , price them expensive and call themselves natural. Kindly refrain from using them .


Stick to trustworthy brands like Seba med , chicco, himalaya etc which specialise in baby products and have done years of testing before launching their products.


Or stick to home made products

Thought my experience is mostly good with forest essential..I have been using their saundrya cream, date and litchi cream but this chand makeup cream which I have bought is not up to the mark of company.Its making my face very dry and the skin is coming out...not very effective for makeups.

Pathetic customer care service

This is a post about my experience with customer care of Forest Essentials. I am a regular customer of FE products and have never faced any issues with any of their product. I can say that I was hooked on their products for over a year or so. But my happy experience came to an end when I shopped a body lotion from them online. The product received had a weird after smell on the skin after use, like that of rotten flowers. Since this has never happened before, even I was surprised and decided to get to customer care for the same. And then began my worst experience by far with any customer care. They asked me to send an email with product details, which I did diligently. This was on 9/10/2020.


There were a series of mails exchanges after which I received a mail with the results of some tests that have been done on that particular batch of the product, stating that there is nothing wrong with their product. Basically informing me that their product is fine and my problem is of no importance to them. Confused I called up their customer care which gave me a very cold response and after coaxing too much I asked them to at least have a look at the product received and then comment on the quality. My point was that even if the quality of the product is fine, the offensive smell is too much to tolerate, and being a doctor I can’t apply this lotion considering my patients sit very close to me. Also, my daughter complained every time I used this lotion.


Finally, they agreed to take the product for testing. But there was no intimation whatsoever when and how it will be picked up. And one fine day, on 9/11/2020, I got a call from a courier agency saying that I need to pack the product and give it to him. When I asked him that I did not receive any information for the same, he was clueless. And then on 26/11/2020, I received another mail from Forest Essentials asking me for the AWB number of the courier pick up. The courier pick up was scheduled by Forest Essentials, and they want me to give them the details. what is this circus?


I am not the kind of person who feels that such petty issues should be posted on social media. Neither I have the time nor intent to do so. But after about 50 days of waiting for a responsible reply and 30 emails exchanged between the customer care and me, I am highly irritated by the way things are being handled by Forest Essentials. This is what you get for being patient and responsive. Forget about accepting that the product might be faulty, they are trying to wash off their hands by saying that there is nothing wrong with their product and it’s the customer’s problem. I expected better from such a renowned company. Sorry to say, I would neither shop from FE nor encourage others to do so, coz by chance also if there happens to be a problem, the customer will be taken for a ride.

Horrible product and Customer care

I bought Soundarya Radiance Cream with 24K gold and SPF25 cream from Myntra.


After applying the cream, I immediately had an allergic reaction and face was all swollen up.


I would not think such an expensive and so-called all-natural product would cause an allergic reaction on my face.


I feel like I have wasted a good lot of money. Their customer care is ridiculous, they are asking me to contact Myntra to solve the issue which their product created.

My friend had said me about this site. When I have researched about its services is it good or bad. I started ask the person who have used this they said the delivery is not for the small village and cities. They only accept delivery for big cities. And they apso do not accept cash on delivery. It was very sad news for me.

Irresponsible Online Customer Care Support

I ordered few products from Forest essentials official website. Only Pre-paid order was available. On the day of delivery 200160856 order id, the delivery boy called around 4pm and asked for OTP before delivering the product and he said that he will deliver the product by 10pm as his house is nearby. I denied for that and after all arguments he delivered the product.


For the order id 200160864, Thrice OTP got generated for 11th June, 12th 13th but the product got delivered on 14th June. None of the customer service contact number reachable, no call back from mail but to fire I received a mail from customer service that the product got delivered on 6th June. Such an irresponsible mail I received. Later I called the delivery agent for 2 days and paid extra money to get the order delivered.


I paid money to forest essential and they're least bothered whether the product will get delivered or not. From there end the product moved out of there location so it is done. Since I paid I have to bang my head to get it delivered. Ridiculous customer service.

Forest Essential products are a bit expensive but they are worth spending every penny. You don't have to worry about the quality though. This brand has the most organic products. I have been loving each and every product so much. Obviously, in today's world we would not mind spending an extra penny for organic and original products instead of spending on cheap chemical products.

Delivered an expiry product to me

A month back I had ordered two products form this website which included a Body Lotion and a Moisturiser.


These products were delivered to me within the next 7 days as it was promised .


When I package and opened it and kept the two products in my bathroom.


In the evening when I was taking a bath I found that the body lotion was of an excellent quality as it wasn't producing much lather and the fragrance was really very good .


When I was done with bathing and I went to apply the moisturiser and I just took a glance at the ingredients and my eyes went on the manufacturing date and it was manufactured on May 2015 and it has already expired on the May month this year.


I got very angry and called them up . They apologised and send me a fresh package.


I just wonder if I would have applied that before checking.
