My friend and I were playing matches one chess.com and me being a chess god that I am, absolutely destroyed him, but we didn't realize that we were playing rated matches so that got my account banned, I was disappointed that chess.com doesn't have something to warn you that you are too good at chess and need to stop playing rated matches, but they didn't so I went to appeal then after a few days they sent an email back saying that my account was permanently deleted and I needed to create a new account, so my friends and I have never played this crappy site since and never will.

Dirty place to play chess their only aim is to satisfy their paid member they aloow their premium member chaeating no action against them also the rating in chess.com is fake

I started playing chess with chess.com and then tried Lichess.org. Comparatively, chess.com has the more user-friendly analysis method. Lichess is fast but it didn't like its analysis.

If you play with a USA guy, it will end up the game.saying that you lost on time. I used to play 10 min game. I keep on playing for months. To find out this fraud, it took me 2 days.

This app is a complete total fraud. I’ve been using this app to play chess for awhile now. The app took my point down for no reasons. I was a few second left to win many games , but somehow either the app shut me down and took my point. There is many times where my opponents were running out of time and I supposed to win, but the app miraculously gave my opponents 30 seconds extra out of nowhere.

I would recommend everyone I know to stop using this app and find a better chess app. This app is a fraud and they are dishonest! I regretted I waste so much time on this stupid fraudulent app.

I have reported so many IT issues numerous times where I was doing so good as I know they try to tell me how to correct it and find out my computer is fine then says there are lots of playing on it. But a person can go so far as to it keeps continuously giving me problems; and not only that, I get cheated every now and then knowing I"m doing good. I don't. understand this website at all and you wonder when this is put out to have fun but also the fairness of people out there and less IT issues even when there lots of people playing on it. I've been a free member since Jun 2020 and still happening even I write to Eric(owner) but still doesn't do much good getting his advice. I like this site due to playing. other site the design is not the same and not colorful. Sometimes it'll take hours, days or sometimes weeks if they don't see my emails to them for assistance. Even now.I periodically get pop ups of lesson to be trained and is disruptive to my game same thing when you're in a tournament, will pop up middle of your game where myself sees it in my way can lose because of it.

Having played thousands of games on the platform to play strictly timebound games 5min., I'm of the opinion that the platform is a cheat, scam, and uses algos beyond a point to obstruct progress

Chesscom is beneath contempt. Short after opening my account and paying an annual registration fee of approx. 99€ Chesscom accused me of cheating(using assistance e.q. computer engine) and closed my account. The immediate closing of the account was performed without any investigation. Followingly, the chesscom support was ignoring my emails. The only answers I received was that "I should reconsider my position", meaning that I should claim that I was cheating. After making it clear that I will be forced to take the legal actions and giving a deadline to Chesscom for returing my money or reopening my account, the Chesscom finally retured my money back.

The whole issue took over 2 months.

From my personal experience Chesscom is a bunch of hihgly incompetent self claimed "world`s leading experts" who cannot distinguish between a computer and a club player. Furthermore, chesscom treats the customer as a piece of st.

I can only warn everybody from this chess server.

At chess.com anyone could enhance its skill and play with friends all over the world, you can play from your mobile phone or computer.I have been playing on site with a free software from linux and there is absolutelly no flaw during the matches, amazing place to learn from Blitz up to standard games, you could also sign a subscription monthly or just play for free

I've been a chess.com user for quite a long time. It helps me to improve my chess skills with lots of informative advices, tactics and puzzles. There are a variety of game modes from standard 10 mins games to 1 min games with live opponents. It also has analysis of games played and an archive of all games played by you.

The site also has videos by Grand Masters and International Masters on how to improve your game. For the best experiences with unlimited training and tactics one can get the paid version. The site also has app which can be downloaded and used on the mobile which makes it easier to access than the browser version on a mobile.

Overall it's a great app/site to use if you want to play other players with similar ELO or if you want to do puzzles or tactics to improve you game.

I'm using this site from 2013. Here we get different levels of chess player from all. Around the world. We get free Tactics for practice. We can add friends here also we have a option for chatting while playing the games. We can see our statics and also we get live games of top rated players on chess.

I have loved this place, I'm a regular visitor on this website and I love this site. It has a large variety of learning material like videos daily puzzles/tactics, poisition study, Daily lessons and much more.

There is a limit for unsubscribed people for lessons, videos and tactics but there is a subscription available at a very low price.

Which will remove the limit of watching videos or solving puzzles , etc.

One can play with players around the world on this site.User interface is also friendly and it is a perfect platform to practice at home. You can watch lessons from grandmasters like simon williams, bubaev, etc. I have learned and used this site so much and I'm still using it. It has it's own app too available for apple users and android users both. Great User friendly Interface and platform for beginners especially.

Though good but is very poor on connectivity. Even a minor glitch in your network can stress you to the core if you take your chess game and rating point seriously.

Not recommend, better play offline chess. I once in anger and frustration of losing an almost won game thrown my phone that costed me few thousand bucks later on. So choice is yours.
