Do not get a subscription to this site. They had seven dollars for seven days which I partook in. I got an email confirming my subscription immediately wrote back to the company that I did not want to further any subscriptions just like it said to in the email, I sent it to the correct email address and sent it like I said immediately after I confirmed the seven day subscription never heard anything back and of course after seven days I was charged $29.95 or wrote the company and they said that there was nothing that they could do that that was the first time that they heard that I wanted to cancel my subscription so I wrote them and showed them proof of both, and they still are unwilling to provide my refund and I’m gonna have to go through PayPal to get a resolution on this I repeat do not waste your money on this website and their customer service is absolutely horrible!!!

I worked there. The managers kept asking me to work off the hours too. Even on weekoffs and would call at 11 pm to solve for them.
Got laid off due to politics.
They are laying off like anything. Sooner or later the company is going to shutdown.
Why? Because they don't have a roadmap. The higher manager just have surrounded himself with yes sirs.
I got laid stating ethical reasons while the manager himself got his senior fired to get his position.
And since then the company is just tearing up. HR would fire without even thinking and himself is having his relatives working in company.
What could a person do rather than take outside help to get his work done when the managers would ask to work 24 hours in name of team spirit.
Please do yourself a favor; do not use them. They have been taking money out of my account for the past years, and when I noticed it, there was no way to contact them. I must cancel my card to stop them from withdrawing money from my account. I will report them to the Better Business Bureau and expose them on social media.

They keep charging your credit card without consent after cancelling . No live person for customer service to talk to – they refer you to convoluted on-line communications that they pretend that they haven’t received it or that you didn’t fill out forms correctly. My request for a refund ignored. Horrific amount of aggravation and waste of money.
I asked questions(2nd year undergrad Mechanical Engineering) and got useless answers. The tutors are awful at high level education and below that you are much better off studying through youtube instead.
Absolutely terrible website. They don't cancel your trial and charge you the annual fee without permission. Customer service is not helpful at all and will not refund you. The essays and answers on the site aren't worth it either.
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. IT IS A WASTE OF YOUR MONEY! The answers are not helpful. You are better off trying some of the other websites that offer this type of service. They will not refund your money not even partially if you are unable to use their services.
So, looking at bank statement today for a credit card which is NOT used online; only to do shopping for food.
Somehow this company has made 4 charges to this CC when I have never heard of them before; and would never use a service like this.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS THEY ARE ONLY OUT TO BILL YOUR CARD MUCH AS THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH!
I used a free trial, then I canceled and today I see on my statement they have been taking money from my account since January, I try to get in contact but they make it so difficult to cancel; and They don’t have support for cancelation so I wrote an email asking for my refund but no one has reached out to me. stay away from this company.
This website/service has the worst customer service. I subscribed to try and see if it’ll be helpful with an assignment, after playing with it for a while I realized it wouldn’t be helpful, so I left the website and never opened it again but I forgot to cancel the subscription. 5 months after they charged my account with $30 and then said they’re not going to give me a refund but that they canceled my subscription to avoid future charges. The worst customer service I have ever experienced! I have never heard of a company that refuses to refund money for services that were not requested, that were not and will not be used. When a company does not have a phone number then you know that’s a shady one. Stay away from Bartleby!
Initially Bartleby was useful. I paid the$7 something and I received a fair number of unlocks. My job require me to research on various matters. After finishing the number of unlocks available, I was prompted to upgrade to premium. Alright, I paid$29 something(can't recall the amount at the moment because feeling annoyed). Used the premium account for a 2 days or so and took a break from work for like 5 days. Today, returned to work and a message popped -up something like this'you have one unlock left, are you sure to unlock the document?'. Seriously! so I pay about$30 just to unlock like 12-15 documents? This is SCAM. there is more. wanted to cancel subscription, then they offer you$9.95/month(something like that). hhhhhhhh, I thought its ok. just accept the offer. changed the plan. and then STILL NO UNLOCKS AVAILABLE. Think before you use your card to subscribe!
I applied for becoming an expert .And its been couple of months since I applied for it.
Still there is no response from the compony.
I have been trying since December 2020 to discontinue my Bartleby subscription. I have lost my previous device(phone) and Bartleby tells me to login on my Google Play store using my lost device(phone). Even though I wrote to Bartleby to cancel my account Bartleby has been deducting money from my card. Bartleby is thief and their answers are also mostly wrong and Chegg and CourseHero are better than Bartleby and you can easily cancel your subscription in Chegg unlike Bartleby
which keeps on deducting your hard earned money from your bank account. Please don't fall for their free trial. If I could give Bartleby Zero stars I would have given them Zero stars. Bartleby's customer care service is also useless. Bartleby only wants your hard earned money. They deliberately do not cancel subscription and continue to take money from my account. Please do not fall for Bartleby . It is a bad app where the answers are not always correct.
I never got to use this product because after signing up for a "free trial" through my community college bookstore, the site would not let me register without paying a$9.99 monthly fee. I was annoyed but it turned out that I didn't need it, so I let it be until I got a bank statement saying they had charged a$9.99 fee to the card I had used at the bookstore for an additional month of service that was not used(because they wouldn't let me!) I emailed their customer support and they unapologetically told me that they were taking my money regardless, but they would be happy to cancel my service. UNBELIEVABLE. These people are thieves stealing from students who already have little money to spare. SHAME ON YOUR COMPANY!
It offers books to be read on the net. Also you can buy books here and have them shipped. There are featured authors here whose works you can read for free.
One thing I know about this site is that it offers all the classics. You have Agatha Christie, Charles Dickens and G.K Chesterson and all the likes. Most of their works are available to be read free on the net. Since that might prove expensive you would be better off saving the web pages. Different chapters of a book are displayed on different pages. My suggestion would be download the opera browser or NetCaptor software. They have multi window opening facility. So all you have to do is first go to https://bartleby.com . Then search for your favourite authour or any book. When the chapters of your book get displayed then Shift + Left Click and the chapter will get opened on a new page. Similiarly open all the chapters of a book.
Then for one or two minutes continue some of your other work. When all pages are loaded simply save them wherever you want. Read it and then delete it. Happy reading.
