My experience with Zomato.com left me feeling quite disappointed, mainly due to their high delivery rates. While I appreciate the convenience of ordering food online, the exorbitant fees associated with Zomato's delivery service were a significant turn-off.
The delivery charges on Zomato are way above what I've encountered on other food delivery platforms. It felt like they were taking advantage of their users, especially during these times when many people rely on food delivery. It's frustrating to see a reasonable food bill skyrocket because of these added fees.
Additionally, the surge pricing during peak hours or busy weekends was particularly irksome. It felt like I was being penalized for wanting to enjoy a meal during popular times. This practice not only deterred me from ordering through Zomato but also made me question their commitment to customer satisfaction.
While I understand that businesses need to make a profit, there should be a balance between profitability and providing a fair service to customers. Zomato's high delivery rates crossed that line for me, and it's likely that I'll be exploring other, more budget-friendly food delivery options in the future.
