I was looking at booking an international return ticket on yatra site but was getting a better rate on another travel site - their customer support in the mean time called me and offered to get me good rates for the ticket I was looking at on yatra itself and they would do the booking on phone .
they even sent me a mail with all the travel details etc and I had to only make the online payment on yatra's side which I agreed to.
I made the payment, the amount of 63800/- got debited from my icici credit card, I got both an sms and email confirmation and then yatra informed me that APPARENTLY THE PAYMENT FAILED DUE TO WHICH NO TICKET COULD BE ISSUED TO ME!
THROUGH THE DAY I CALLED MY BANK AND YATRA - THE BANK INSISTED THE PAYMENT WAS SUCCESSFUL, YATRA INSISTED THE PAYMENT FAILED! I FINALLY LODGED A COMPLAINT WITH ICICI DISPUTE TEAM AND THEY INFORMED ME THEY WOULD TAKE UPTO 30 DAYS TO RESOLVE THIS!
NOW I AM STUCK WITH MONEY DEDUCTED FROM MY CREDIT CARD AND NO TICKET!
TERRIBLY DISAPPOINTED WITH YATRA'S SERVICE AS I BELIEVE THEIR PLATFORM HAS AN ISSUE DUE TO WHICH THE PAYMENT FAILED BECAUSE I HAVE USED THIS SAME CREDIT CARD MULTIPLE TIMES EVEN TODAY AND NOT FACED AN ISSUE WITH THE BANK.
