I made a mistake by using yatra.com for my booking. I had used goibibo, MMT earlier and they were really good. I booked 3 rooms in a hotel for Dehradun, got the discount, confirmation etc so far so good. Horror started on the day of travel.
At 1 PM I get a call from some Mr Jain that due to some problem in hotel, all bookings are cancelled and I have made alternate arrangements in a equally good hotel. He was very rude definitely not suitable for a customer service. I came to know later it was a fraud as our colleagues who booked the same hotel after us directly were staying there and it was a chance to earn money due to some meet in Dehradun.
This so called resort was so remote that I guarantee no one can reach there without Google Map. There was no TV, no Wifi, no restaurent. Moreover I guess, it was unauthorised resort. I called customer service in night, he said he will arrange a call back. I called next day in noon, this guy was even worse thn Mr Jain. He bluntly said, it will take 24 hrs, I told this gentleman, after 24 hrs I will be at home. He simply ignored my requests and after 26 hrs still there is no call.
While I advise you to avoid yatra.com, please suggest consumer forum process. I want to file a case tomorrow itself. Also to add I am orthopadic disabled.
