The Crux is the oldest and the cheapest bike from Yamaha India. The bike follows the concept of built-to-last and is targeted at the rural area where the use is more of multi-purpose and less of daily commuting. The Japanese maker had given it a mid-life facelift few years ago with new decals and multi-reflector headlight and indicators.
The Crux is powered by single-cylinder 106cc air-cooled engine that produces 7.5bhp at 7, 500rpm and a maximum torque of 7.5Nm at 6, 000rpm. The engine is mated to a four-speed gearbox with three up and one down shift pattern. The bike gets electric start for easy use and gets traditional spoke wheels.
The Crux has a fuel tank capacity of 11 litres and weighs 113kg.It is sold in India in two colour options – Maroon and Black. If you are someone who is looking for a cheap bike that can carry heavy load, then the Yamaha Crux is your choice.
