We recently moved to the usa from Bangalore. These guys quoted 3 lakhs to move our goods - we had to pay upfront. The marketing guy promised all kinds of things - he did not tell us the whole story though. once in the usa, the delivery of our goods was much delayed - we were told customs were specially inspecting our goods and so we would have to pay 1700$ if we wanted our stuff delivered.
I contacted the Bangalore guys about this huge additional charge they had said nothing about and of course they did not respond at all..the huge amount of money we had paid upfront was supposed to include charges for unpacking, assembly, etc. but the delivery guy was not willing to assemble our dining chairs, cabinets, etc. he grudgingly assembled our bed and that was it.
You pay all this money and there is no way to enforce the contract, because the man who delivers is different from the man who picks up your stuff and takes your money for it. Writer relocation were most unprofessional in not responding to my emails, or phone calls. Once they got their money they were not interested in delivering on their promises. we go to a big company expecting better service but what you get is really very very poor ...
