Let me start wit a fact that every body is familiar with the software name Windows media player and the fact is that no body uses it, and another funny thing is that every have it silently kept on the PC or laptop, it is nothing but users cant un install the software as it comes default with the Windows operating systems. Windows media player is also termed as WMP.
Microsoft not at all cares about the Media Player, they very well know that the playback performance of Windows Media player is so pathetic, I don't know why they are rectifying the issues with proper updates and bug fixes.
This is the built in media player with the Microsoft windows operating systems, to play the video files and some other media files, but the crazy thing here is that Windows media player does not have much capability to play majority of the media files or video frmats available, so we have to install third part media players in order to have a good playback of videos and our favorite media files.
I have only used Microsoft Windows media player for a short period of time, I have not found anything good to be roshanbhaskar to say about the media player, I have lots of problems or disadvantages of Windows media player, Here I will try to quote down some main disadvantages of Windows media player.
*Major Disadvantages of Windows Media Player;*
*@** Not supports majority of the Video file formats.
*@** No supporting codec pack to fix the problem of nonsupporting of the video formats.
*@** Picture quality is not at all good, even if we are playing a good and high quality video, Windows media plays plays it in a worst quality.
*@** Majority of the Audio Formats are also not supported by windows media player.
*@** Windows media player will not play a partially damaged CD, DVD or files, meanwhile other players will play the rest parts of the file which are not damaged, here WMP will not anything.
*@** Windows Media player is very slow and lagging in streaming online videos even if we have good speed internet connection.
*@** Play good quality Mp3 Files in very worst quality.
*@** We cannot uninstall from the System.
*@** They dont provide regular updates.
*@** Only Basic equilizer settings
*@** Automatically runs some music online services and wastes our data balance.
*@** The playback volume is so pathetic.
*@** In most cases the subtitle feature does not work.
*VERDICT:*
Windows media Player is just a media player by name, and this is the most de rated media player in the industry.
