Dear friends after a long deliberation and frustration I am writing this review for Westside Gamdevi service.
I bought clothes worth 20000 rs at Westside Gamdevi in the month of December.
Points to be noted.
There were no sales person to guide you regarding the products. It is we the customer have to roam the whole shop to find the products and the irony is that we are not able to get the clothes of size and color we want.
Also they don't allow us to try clothes we want to buy to see if it fits you. They will give you clothes of same make, to try, saying they are same.
The billing process is awfully slow. They took 30 mins just to clear our bills.
When we gave our clothes for alteration the person taking measurements told us that the alteration will take 4 days. So we called after 4 days but they did not pick up the phone. God knows why they have given the landline number on bill and Google. Then my wife had to travel all the way to the shop just to know that they haven't been altered and the work has not yet started. My wife tried to all means to get the work done but did not help. They gave false promise that once the work is done they will deliver it to our address which they also noted down and promised to deliver us in another 2 days. They also gave here the ghost managers number who never picks up the phone and even if picked by mistake he won't speak, just to console her. Again the same story they did not call us neither did they pick up the phone. My wife again after 2 days went there and shouted at them and registered her disappointment about the service. After making her sit for 30 mins they somehow gave her the altered clothes.
She got the clothes home and when I tried the clothes to our surprise I found that all my trousers were altered short by about half inch. They were looking like joker pants. I tried calling the manager, approx 5 times, but it was same old story did not pick up and once picked no one speaking at other end. Then out of mere frustration I started to search their number online which I found and called but no one picked up the landline. Then I called the toll free number which they picked after 15 mins, probably the number was busy with other unhappy customer. I spoke with the person for 20 mins to convince her to get my trousers altered again if possible. Initially she was not at all cooperative. Then I threatened her that I will post a review then she said that she will try to arrange a call back from the store and manager.
Just to show false concern she took my number and email ID. But till date there is no call back from their end. Hence this review.
Lesson what I learned
Never buy clothes from Westside.
They don't care about their customer. They think they have a customer base of 150 crore indians whom they have opportunity to fool and that 1 customer doesn't matter to them.
You will have no sales person to help you and even if you get 1 they have no idea about products.
Don't believe their so called managers and their false promises.
They will spoil your clothes after alteration.
I am completely dissatisfied.
This was my 1st and last experience.
