I would like to bring to your kind notice on 19th August 2012, I had purchased online AC Volvo semi sleeper cost of the bus ticket is Rs 1000 and received PNR number: 8990485 from VRL (Vijayanand Travels), Bangalore.Ticket was purchased from Bangalore to Hyderabad travel date 19th August 2012 for my mother her age 59 years.
On 20th August 2012 early morning 4 AM my mom called me and told the bus driver forcibly dropped her with other 5 passengers in that 3 of then where ladies some where in middle of unknown village outskirts when asked they told the bus is booked for marriage party and this bus will be deviated to other location and other bus will be sent and after I called all numbers provided by VRL none of them responded, after repeated calls VRL in charge responded at around 6 AM they had sent some ordinary bus for pick up at 7 AM and my mother with great difficulty in bad health condition she had reached to Hyderabad around 11 AM as the bus was suppose to reach Hyderabad at 6 AM. My mother was allowed to suffer and stand on main road for more than 3 hours which had resulted in hospitalization due to excess cold, high fever and low blood pressure. She was admitted in KIMS, Hyderabad.
I tried to call VRL office in same morning but I haven’t receive any response and again I called at 11 AM on 7676955555 spoke to in-charge name viresh asked for explanation and refund of money as they taken booking to drop passengers safely to destination as per booking. But Vijayanand Travels in charge (Viresh) said they got better deal and he had abused me, used unparliamentary language on phone and told me they will not taking any responsibility on their passengers safety & health and told me to give complaint to whomever I want and no money will be refunded. I had lodged police complaint in Bangalore and also a copy to RTO against this worst transport company and I request all travellers please don't plan to go with this transport company, Govt should ban or have heavy penalty by punishing this type transport bus companies who play with passengers life's and cheat customers by looting money and not providing proper service, They not abide to safety of the passengers.
My mother life was taken to risk by harassing her unknown place to wait for hours and with god grace she was safely returned home. I want to hold Vijayanand Travel (VRL) total responsible for my mother’s health problem. I have trust on law, it will take it own action. No way I will compromise with this people.
This message is to caution every traveller who planning to travel & choose by travel agents for VRL (Vijayanand Travels) please don't get opted and trapped and I don't want others to be suffered and cheated like me and other more people who had already suffered. if you are suffered please lodge police complaint against this type travel company.
