Each Taj hotel at different parts of the world brings some unique experience of its own to
provide, vivanta by taj, Aurangabad is no exception. It was hot and humid, dry and dusty
Aurangbad outside, but when we reached at the hotel it was as refreshing as first rain drops.
Well mannered staff arranged a pick-up vehicle and dropped us at the entrance. It has a small palace like appearance, quite a big surprise considering its a Vivanta hotel, not a palace hotel. Most of the rooms have a huge swing hanging from the balcony ceiling offering great views.Our room had a balcony with swing and a private balcony as well.It was very romantic.Food was excellent, rooms are spacious with good view of the garden and lawn. The lawn was manicured to perfection and depicted the pattern of sun rays which was beautiful and also kids and adults would play cricket early morning in these lawns as well.
Food is excellent and most importantly the staff is very cordial, helpful. Their hospitality will touch your heart. I will fondly remember the way an young staff member, the only girl staff at the frontdesk arranged my birthday surprise in the terrace garden and arranged a delicious white pineapple cake. In the evening, local Maharashtrian dance show will entertain you along with good barbecue dishes. Don't forget to swim in the beautiful swimming pool, surrounded by trees and flowers. So next time you want to travel to Ajanta, Ellora other popular tourist destinations, make this hotel as your base camp.
