I had HCL 17inch monitor for several years and almost died out on me. I have Nvidia 512MB 7300GT graphic card in my PC because Im a gamer. I decided one day its time to change the monitor so I went to viewsonic store in hyderabad because I had used viewsonic CRT monitors before and they were excellent.
First thing, I fell in love with this huge 22" marvel. It had small speakers in built and was imported piece, so the cables were not made for India. I anyway made a deal with the seller for 10400 Rs.
I bought this home and connected the cables from my old monitor, it fitted well. I also fixed the Digital cables as I said I had graphic card. So Analog signal cable was connected, digital signal cable was connected, power cable and speaker cables.
I crossed my fingers and switched on the computer. WOW, intelligent monitor, first came into light and said, dude, change the resolution to 1680 X 1050 Pixels for best view. I changed it and then the real beauty of the monitor showed. the computer booted up, I installed the viewsonic drivers and man I should say the wall papers, movies and pictures are just awesome, there are different modes, for movies, text, games, pictures, etc. so just change it when you are in different moods.
The speaker on the monitor is not that great when when added to the creative speakers I have they both to gether give formidable music experience, overall I recomment this product to all. Excellent.
