To beer Or not to Beer. Review on Venom, Ashok Nagar, Pune

Ok, I have visited this place thrice to date, and each time I have returned content if not elated by the experience. The food at the place starting from the french fries to the elaborate meats is definitely as good as they come in a pub/lounge. Though my visits have been restricted to weekends and late into the night, I have always found the place buzzing with people. The outdoors though easily among the best lounge rooftop terraces the millennium city has on offer.

What's really disappointing is that the core concept of the place are its biggest let downs! The micro brewery serves the worst beer I have had anywhere, Of the 8-9 Pitchers I have ordered in my 3 visits, every time they have either had to take it back and replace it more of the same) or simply cancel the order for something else. I cannot believe that any beer drinkers worth his marbles can gulg down even a pint serving of the excuse they serve calling beer. If you are really the sorts to experiment and not pay heed or learn from others mistakes I know it wouldn't make any difference still try and stick to the premium or just the dark variants. I am glad my opinion resonates with a lot of reviewers on the portal and also since my visits have been restricted to weekends the music it plays on Saturday under the garb of a Bollywood night is absolutely repulsive.

Would recommend people to only venture out to the place if the weather is fine and you are up for an outdoor soujourn (the music blaring indoor will anyways throw you out). So that's the place... a very 2.5 to 3 out of 5 sort of a place.. but still among the fresher choices in gurgaon.. though the usage of the word 'fresh' for this micro brewary is for everything but the beer they serve!
