I have visit this place at 3year ago. Its on the way to kedarnath gourikund. The scenic beauty is lovely. But during our visit, the lake was drying. may b due to no rains. But the place is very nice, amongst the mountains.
One should try to trek with the guide to this place which has natural beauty as well as spiritual aura in surrounding. Beware of wild animals, hence travel only under clear skies in day light
Well its hard to describe the beauty amongst which this majestic lake is situated. Surrounded by snowclad peaks, vast lake and cool breeze, it shows why saints could mediate so easily for long times in these places. if lucky you can also see chunks of big ice floating in the lake.
