I had been recently to Valley View Resort for a few days on vacation with family. The Hotel is a nice property, but unfortunately in not one of the best locations.
The staff is very cordial, the property is clean, the facilities are good, specially the covered swimming pool, but the location of the property seems to be a dampner on all these benefits.
The Hotel is located right behind the market in Mahableshwar and the approach to the property is through very populated area. Also the best rooms are super deluxe rooms and to my mind given other options in Mahableshwar that is steeply priced.
One good things about the Hotel is that they organise many programmes during peak periods.
My recommendations for staying in Mahableshwar would be Hotel Rajesh, Ramsukh Resort (in Old Mahableshwar). The new rooms of Hotel Rajesh were specially very tempting with the price tag. And the fact that it is quite suitably located.
