Utharam Kayam of Kerala is a dense forest with variety of medicinal plants and bird life.
To reach there you have to take a boat from Neyyar Reservoir and then trek for about two kilometers to reach Utharam Kayam.
The place for sightseeing in Utharam Kayam are Meenmutti falls and the place is filled with greenery, it is best place if you want to go for trekking
It provides tree houses for accommodation to the tourists.
Since it is a dense forest you should be careful while walking through it but otherwise it is a safe place.
