Union Bank of India(UBI) is one of the largest government-owned banks of India. I have a savings account in the bank.
Customer service - The employees are very friendly and willing to help. That makes the strength of the bank. Unlike in most government offices, Union bank is very customer friendly.
Internet banking - The internet banking facility is very good. I have been using it for quite a while now. The user interface is very good and easy to operate. They have a 3 layer security protection so that you don't fall prey to cyber fraud.
Bank charges - I am only charged Rs. 15 per quarter for SMS charges of net banking. This is towards the various intimation texts that bank sends. And it is so nominal, it doesn't give you a pinch.
Mobile banking - It is also very safe, secure and the app is very user friendly.
I have used the internet banking facility for online purchases and it is completely safe.
I really like banking with UBI. Till today I have never faced any issues with the bank. They live upto their motto'Good people to bank with'.
Must open an account with them if you want good services.:)
