I tried some of the free and some of the trial version of products for blocking usb drives for my office. I must say that uHook USB Disk Security was the most comprehensive one. The best thing I liked about this product is its capability to block even the users with administrative privilege. It was rerally helpful for me because we need to give administrative access to our employee on some of the machines. Administrators can't by pass uHook Security because of two reasons, as I could find out:-
They can not uninstall the program, because uninstallation rerquires a password, which only I can set and change
They can not just delete the installation files or end the process for usb security, because doing these things makes the usb drives completely blocked
I strongly recommend this product to small business owners, but before you spend the money be sure to test out the product. It worked great for me but it might not suit your needs.
