Before you read the actual review - I just hope you like my taste and don't disagree with me too much. I listened to the songs, read the lyrics, heard the singers and after a lot 'chewing of my pencil' was able to decide the top 20 Hindi romantic songs.
Here goes my list -
(1) *Pehla Nasha :* From the movie **Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar,** and sung by **Udit Narayan** and **Sadhana Sargam**, this song is one of the most beautiful songs ever made. (2) *Tu Bin Bataaye :* This song is so beautiful ! The female's voice is so soulful and whenever I hear this song, I kinda enter in a deep trance and its difficult to stop hearing this song again once you've started. Sung by **Madhusree** and **Naresh Iyer**, this song is from the movie **Rang De Basanti** and to me, is like the epitome of romantic songs. *Tu bin bataye mujhe le chal kahin Jahan tu muskuraye meri manzil wahin
(3) *Humkon Humise Chura Lo:* This famous song from **Mohabbatein**, sung by **Lata Mangeshkar** and **Udit Narayan** is another favorite of mine. (4) *Tum Mile (Reprise) :* This song is SO beautiful. You just have to listen to the song to know what I'm talking about. And the lyrics! - Its just pure magic. It sounds exactly like a person madly in love. Whenever I'm sad about something or my mood is off, I just have to listen to this song to forget all my worries and I'm all right. (5) *Suna Suna :* I don't know if many of you have heard this song, but if haven't - then do hear. Those who have heard this song must be well aware what I'm talking about. Sung by **Shreya Ghoshal** from the movie **Krishna Cottage**, this song is magical and gets better every time I

(6) *Tum Se Hi :* If you're talikng about romance and love songs, then you've got to talk about this song. Sung by **Mohit Chauhan** from the movie **Jab We Met**, this song has wonderful lyrics, wonderful singer and a heart-warming tune to it. What more do you want of a romantic song ? (7) *In Dino :** I'm right now listening to this song and it feels so wonderful. This song can put anyone in a romantic mood, anyplace, anytime. (8) *O Meri Jaan :** O man ! This song is so awesome !! Pritam totally rules! The song - as a whole package, I mean - lyrics, music and singer is just flawless. (9) *Aaonge Jab Tum O Saajna :** This song, sung by **Ustad Rashid Khan** from the movie **Jab We Met** is SO soulful. The singer has so much depth in his voice and he sings with such feeling! (10) *In Lamhon Ke Daaman Mein :* Filmed on Aish-Hrithik, this song from **Jodha Akbar** is sung by **Madhusree** and **Sonu Nigam** and is another beautiful song which suits every romantic situation. Also, the lyrics of this song are really good and its a wonderful song to hear. My favorite lines from the song - *Mere Khwaabon Ke Is Gulistaan Mein Tumse Hi Tum Bahar Chai Hai Phoolon Mein Rang Nahi The Lekin Dil Mein Khusboon Tumhi Se Aai Hai
(11) *Baahon Ke Darmiyaan :* I know this song is a little older than the other songs mentioned in this list, but I couldn't resist adding it in my review. From the movie **Khaamoshi**, this too-beautiful song is sung by **Alka Yagnik** and **Hariharan** and I'm like, one of the hugest fans of this song. *Baahon ke darmiyaan do pyaar mil rahe hain Jaane kya bole mann dole sunke badan Dhadkan bani zubaan
(12) *Tere Liye :* This song is from **Veer Zaara** and is sung by **Lata Mangeshkar** and **Roop Kumar Rathod** I just so LOVE the video of this song and SRK-Preity look awesome. (13) *Mujhe Teri :* Th song is so damn awesome ! The female singer has such a husky voice which I absolutely LOVE ! (15) *Tum Ko :* Though many of you may confuse this song with **Tum Ho**, a similar song with same tune and same movie, this song is sung by **Kavita Krishnamurthy** from the movie **Rockstar** .These two are totally different songs and though they're of the same tune, I like this song more. *Tum ko.. (16) *Tum Ho :* Though this is similar to the song above, I still had to add this into my list. **Mohit Chauhan's** husky voice does wonders to me every time I hear it and this song is a definite favorite. *Tum ho Tum ho paas mere Saath mere ho Tum yun
(17) *Kal Ho Naa Ho :* Oh man! I love Shah Rukh Khan in this movie ! And the song - ( I know I've repeated this for about 10 times ) but, great lyrics, awesome singer and lovely song. Do hear. My favorite lines from the song - *Chaahe jo tumhe poore dil se Milta hai woh mushkil se
(18) *Khuda Jaane :* This song is sung by **K.K**. and **Shilpa Rao** and is from the movie Bachna Ae Haseeno. *Khuda Jaane Ke Mein Fida Hoon Khuda Jaane Mein Mitt Gaya
