When I purchased my Wego (August 2011), I was a very happy customer. But within 15 days, its foot stand rusted out. After 2 months, It started to stop randomly. Fewer times, It faulted at mid night with no help available. During this problem, it does not start even with a kick and choke on.I checked with their customer care. Senior officials checked but nothing good was done, except checking engine oil, carburetor and RPM settings. I was so fused up. I changed its battery after 8 months of purchase and since then it is working rock solid. It never stops at any point of time.
I replaced this battery with a exide one, cost around Rs.1300. I have heard some users faced this problem too. When I suggested them to replace the batteries, it worked for them also.
Except this issue, Scooty has been running excellently well. Very comfortable. Just, its best to service scooty outside original service center to make sure.. you have a engine oil filled up from a better make. Rest, take up your free services and then say hi to local service guys :)
