Tuffmail provides a very reliable and configurable email service that I highly recommend. They can provide you with an email address, but also allow you set up unlimited domain names with an account (yes, unlimited domain names as well as unlimited email addresses). This is a great bargain, as many email providers limit domains or charge you per domain.
Tuffmail provides highly configurable spam filtering (much better than the filtering on any free accounts I've used, which are many!!), IMAP, powerful filtering and forwarding, antivirus protection, and polling/consolidation of other accounts. I like the way I can access ALL my account settings from my email login -- I don't have to log into any separate management program as with some providers.
The accounts start at $18 per year for one mailbox, which satisfies my needs for my own personal mailbox. But they offer many other packages with multiple mailboxes, which would be perfect for business users or a family. Definitely check out Tuffmail!
