Dealing with TRUWW was a real ordeal. Please dont waste your hard-earned money.
Many of the glowing 5-star reviews on platforms like Mouthshut appear to be posted by their own employees
I have proof to support this claim.
Our journey with TRUWW has been extremely difficult. The mental stress we endured trying to get things done properly was
beyond explanation.
Here are just a few major issues we faced:
1.Unsafe Electrical Work:
The wiring was carried out by completely unqualified workers only with two 17-year-olds posing as electricians.
Had we not visited the flat during the wiring process, the wires would have been sealed behind the panels,
leaving us in an extremely unsafe living environment.
When we raised this concern with the project manager, his response was shockingly dismissive: Sab jagah aise hi chalta hai
(This is how it works everywhere).
In summary, while the exterior finishes may look appealing, the quality and safety behind the walls tell a very different story.
Its deeply concerning to think how many homes TRUWW may have wired in an unsafe manner.
Unfortunately, such issues often remain hidden only coming to light when a serious mishap occurs
2.Wrong Laminate Colors Due to Designers Error:
The designer mistakenly provided an incorrect color code for the laminates.
When we visited the factory, we discovered that the laminates being used were not the ones we had selected.
We had clear proof of our original selection, yet it was extremely difficult to get the designer and project manager to acknowledge the mistake.
They kept deflecting responsibility, and we had to push back strongly going back and forth, enduring endless frustration just to get them to admit the error.
Eventually, after much persistence, they accepted their mistake and corrected the laminate color.
However, due to this confusion, our project was delayed by 2 months.
To make things worse, they charged us ₹;26, 000 as storage fees despite the delay being entirely their fault
3.Current issues going on with TRUWW:
a. Discolouration of mirror on Wadrobe: A slight discoloration in the mirror was observed during the execution itself .When we broght it to the
notice of project manager, he assured that TRUWW will change it if the discoloration increases(Have the proof of communication).
Now the discolouration increased and they are not ready to change it .
b.Cracks in the false ceiling:
Just six months after installation, visible cracks began to appear in the false ceiling.
When we raised the issue, TRUWW was quick to blame the climate for the damage.
However, many others in the same area who used local vendors for false ceiling work have had no such issues their ceilings remain perfectly intact despite the same weather conditions.
c. Uncleaned Area Under Kitchen Cabinets:
Eight months after handover, I happened to open the skirting below the kitchen cabinets and was shocked to find plywood dust,
granite powder and debris still lying there. Clearly, this area had never been cleaned during installation or handover.
Despite multiple follow-ups from our side which dragged on for over a month the cleanup was finally done just yesterday.
This level of negligence and delay is simply unacceptable for any professional service when we are already paying a good amount for the debris cleaning.
The above incidents reflects poor workmanship and the use of substandard materials.
If you value safety, peace of mind, quality workmanship, timely delivery, and true value for your money I strongly recommend staying away from TRUWW.
