60-Day Honest Review After Giving Truww a Fair Chance to Resolve the Issue
After patiently waiting for over 60 days and giving multiple chances to Truww to correct their mistakes, I feel it's important to share my experience to help future customers make informed decisions.
Initial Experience:
The first red flag appeared when a newly joined sales executivebarely 3 months into the jobwas assigned to handle my project. He lacked product knowledge and clearly didnt understand the system or pricing structure. Despite this, Truww allowed him to meet customers independently without any senior supervision or quality check.
Misleading Quotation and Payment:
They collected my floor plan and shared a quotation without clearly explaining the price bifurcation. Instead, they used a discount gimmick, offering a 36% discount that looked attractive on paper. As a customer, I focused on the "apparent savings" and made an initial payment of ₹63, 000.
The Real Problem:
At this stage, design wasnt even finalized. When their team visited the flat for measurements, they informed me that a modular kitchen was not feasible due to limited space. I then requested a customized design that could fit and potentially reduce the cost. However, they flatly denied any cost reduction.
That's when I reviewed the PDF quotation that had been emailed earlier and started calculating the components (woodwork, electrical, lighting, etc.). To my shock, the actual prices did not align with the discount offered. There was a clear mismatch of ₹11, 000₹15, 000 in the final pricing.
Poor Customer Service:
When I reached out to the Customer Relations Manager to clarify the discrepancy, instead of offering help or a valid explanation, I was met with rude behavior and arrogance, even going as far as to say, You wont get a refund, and you cant do anything about it.
I then visited their office hoping for resolution, but no one was able to justify the quotation. When I asked for a refund, they outright refusedeven though the mistake was clearly on their end. I was escalated to their AGM, who unfortunately had no understanding of their own pricing structure, leading to a heated argument without any resolution.
Eventually, I had to involve their customer support head over email, but even she failed to understand the actual concern and kept sending random, unhelpful replies.
Final Steps:
Due to the lack of accountability and blatant misinformation, I have now filed an official police complaint and a case in the consumer court for misleading and cheating a customer.
A Message to Current & Future Customers:
Please check the PDF quotation sent to your email carefully. Manually calculate all price components and verify if the discounts and totals match. If you see any inconsistencies, escalate immediately and demand a proper explanationdo not rely on verbal communication alone.
Their system apparently doesnt have the capability to show full costs clearly, which raises a serious question: Why charge customers when your own system lacks transparency?
Truww needs to take full accountability for misleading pricing, untrained staff, and poor customer support. I hope this review helps others avoid the mental and financial stress Ive gone through.
