Delivery Delays & Harassment by Health Consultant. Review on Truemeds

The problem with ordering from Truemeds is that the order processing time is extremely high. If you are in a hurry to get the medicine, you can't use their service. Initially, at the time of placing the order, the expected delivery time shows 2 days, but once your order gets approved, the date changes to an additional 2-3 days.

All their orders are processed from their Mumbai warehouse and are shipped by their courier partner. Moreover, ordering medicine on their app with a valid prescription is literally a form of harassment.

First, their empanelled doctor calls you, and once the doctor approves the order, another so-called health consultant calls you and asks foolish, repetitive questions that were already asked by their doctor and advises you to purchase alternative brand medicines. Can you believe that despite having approval from a qualified doctor, you still need approval from a telecaller to get your medicine? It's like having a visitor pass to meet the Bank Manager, but the gateman or security personnel prevents you from meeting him. Even if you are a returning customer ordering the same medicines with valid prescriptions, the process remains the same. Despite raising this issue with their founders, I didn't receive any resolution. They also don't provide live chat support.

The only benefit they provide is offering an 18-20% discount on some medicines on the printed price and showing the alternative brand medicines as well. However, a discount of up to 30% can be easily availed if you procure medicines from the wholesale market. My transaction experience with Truemeds is nothing great. Yes, Truemeds products are genuine and they do mention the manufacturing and expiry dates of the medicines on their bill.
