I have a Toshiba canvio alumy 2tb external hard disk drive. I have purchased it around 7500 rupees from amazon.com. look wise its finish is quite good and compact but performance wise it is really disappointing. It would have been better if I would have spent thousands more rupees and would have bought another good brand hard disk drive.
PERFORMANCE: -
Is performance is really bad. This hard disk drive is quite slow the data transfer rate is really disappointing I had not expected such as low data transfer rate more ever it get heated within 5 to 10 minutes which is really a big issue. It is also quite noisy. The connecting cables is also not very good it seems that it would get loose after couple of months. Sometimes it makes a clicking noise which is really frustrating .
SERVICE AND SUPPORT: -
Toshiba also provide customer care support number but I am really frustrated with its customer care support, its service is very poor if any fault occur then it will takes around months to get resolved from service centre.
I will suggest you to spend some more amount of money and buy a good brand hard disk drive like of WD elements or seagate. I am regretting after buying this product which is a real wastage of money , it's my suggestion that you should not buy this product .
