I have used 100's of earphones till date the experience was sometimes good & bad. In Spite of that I never stopped buying earphones. Like I work mostly online I guess most of you sleep with playing or watching something over internet. So do I.
There are 5 things to take care before you hop into buying a pair of earphones.
#1 Brand doesn't matter unless you hear the right sound. You're about to buy a earphone For what? Yes, the sound quality should be well enough to satisfy you. The best sound always rattles on ear. This means a lot to a audiophile.
#2 Check the drivers and the sound output, Impedance and magnet type. Neodymium magnet are best if your earphones have it then fine. If not, try to find one that has a Neodymium magnet.
#3 Check the cords well before buying one. The cords generally messes lot of times and these creates a panic to the user also if you try to overpower sometime it can get you disheartened. So a tangle free wire setup is good.
#4 Check the accessories you get with it. A box for wrapping up the earphones some extra pairs of earbuds with sizes will be beneficial for the user. Like, when I travel I wrap it inside the box.
#5 You can use a earphone that comes with in-built mic but I don't use it. It's again a user choice whether you use it simply for listening to music or use it as mic for voice talk.
