I remember being a Tinkle fan since childhood. I don't get to read them so often now but hopefully with a growing and inquisitive son, I will again ! According to me it is a *complete* comic. The adventures of Shikari Shambhu and Suppandi were very funny and the jokes were always so original (I hate stale jokes). The educative part was also very well written with fine illustrations.

I think Tinkle was a precursor to my developing into a lover of literature and can I ever thank that enough ! As a child, every fortnight I would await the next issue and as soon as it hit the stands I got my copy, went home, sat on my bed and devoured it from beginning to end, at one go.

I don't know how the comic has changed over the years(I hope only for the better), but now when I am touching 30 with a 2 year old kid, I hope to provide for him the same solid reading reading material, educative and funny at the same time, as my parents had by introducing me to Tinkle. Bravo Uncle Pai !
