A Virtual World of information where signals are gathered together to combine and then threaded to receive or playback!!

In all of the above the most common thread is the action of 'something living within the non living!'*

Here its the game that rebels use to play to HACK info from computers and create wars. Larry and Andy Wachowski, gave birth to a very kinetic and dazzling cyber adventure, that really jolts you, palpitates you, gets you to the edge-of-the-seat and then raises the hair at the back of your neck signifying FEAR!!

Fear not from horror attacks but from a question that arises whilst watching this sci fiction adventure, **could this be real tomorrow??

The seed is sown!! Neo (Keanu Reeves),is out there defying gravity, blazing bullets and dodging them is the most gratifying and pulsating drama created in 1999 by Larry and Andy where the entire world watched the death dfying stunts and waited with bated breath the birth of a CYBER SUPER HERO ala comic books!!

Why comic books because we have been marvelled by marvel comics for giving us such super heroes as Superman, Batman, Spiderman from normal human beings!! Here Larry and Andy have reached the pinnacles of fanatsy, **A Cyber Superhero!!

A mild mannered author-by-day turned hacker-by-night, Neo, is approached by Trinity (Carrie Ann-Moss)and Morpheus (Lawrence Fishbourne), a team of cyber rebels cell, because they have discovered thatthe world doesn't exist. According to them the world is a Virtual Reality and we have been blinded by the system and its administrators into believing and obeying the system!! Morpheus rightly puts it to Neo, "Matrix has pulled the wool over our eyes, we are slaves of this system".

Now the fundamental job of Neo is to hunt these administrators and pull out the Matrix to restore the world in its living form and free mankind from its deathly, robotic claws.

In spite of the virtual reality, the battles against these agents are REAL and you could get hurt or die in REAL TIME!! This is the deadly game that the people ruling the MATRIX play!! It requires as much mind power as does the physical strength to dodge these deadly guys who have the ability to regain form from any unnatural substances into living beings at their command!!

Its deadly, its fearsome... Its awesome..

The grid that Larry and Andy have created is very simple in its english explanation.... **They have rendered the existing world a VIRTUAL base, surreal and rendered lifeless, with REAL humans and then have reated a VIRTUAL game that starts with hacking into the system and implanting a live REAL human into it. The system is now rendered unstable and the agents are out to play and hunt down the infilterator!!

All systems go... The falling sparks on green black backdrop, yelling out numbers and befuddling the minds are just an example of how these administrators have fixed the MATRIX to lull the humankind into passive obedience. The body cannot live without the mind!

The Matrix, **is in the true sense a very fantasical creation that propels you into the world of micro chip intelligence, maze of IC's on a mother board programmed to strike out infiltrators and let the robotic mechanism reign complete leadership in dictating our day to day life!!

Its the approach of the surreal and the intrigue of the internet world that has always primed us to explore and Larry and Andy do it successfully. **They have given us a new hero NEO and the ever alive anti virus agents like Morpheus and Trinity that have the interests of keeping the humans as humans alive and kicking that gives us hope that the future even though a little bleak is still going tobe ruled by humans and that VIRTUAL humans will be under our control!!

*Keanu Reeves has excelled. He looks golden. His make up is very surreal whih explains the reason for a REAL virtual appearance which is porcelain like, little stony and rigid but yet human!! I have been a fan of his ever since...

A special mention to the team of Larry and Andy here.... They are magnificient. Rendering of special effects has been the highlight of this film and they have been done with abundance to introduce new chills and thrills!! Who can forget the famous dodge that Keanu does!! The entire team made the dream of a fantasy come to REALITY!!

When you start watching this film you can actually feel a sense that clearly buzzes your mind to the drone of a machine thats about to take your life into its own, plug you into combat mode and then starts a series of buzzing zings of bullets being fired randomly. Stunts that will chill you to your bones and energetic acrobats that would defy any highly adrenaline charged chinese kungfu films!! I was stunned and stuffed into my chair while watching this. **I did not for once believe that I was indeed a human, but the climax instilled in me the confidence that whatever the leaps in technology, we will be the leaders to rule and to control this cyber world!!

Sajith, this is for you. Written in the ethereal and surreal world of the internet, controlled by micro chip intelligence but dictated by me!!
