College is good good teachers here best labs for practical but there is shortage of books in library students have to face problems,
if they don't get the required books there is more burden on students regarding project work and teachers should be more friendly with the students,
more practical work should be there than the theoretical
Great college infrastructure wise.
Faculty is quite good and supportive.
In fact most of my other batch-mates pursuing masters from other colleges tell me that they hardly have to attend any classes but here in thapar there are regular classes and attendance is mandatory. Environment in college is also good. As a ME student I feel like I am being considered a bit inferior to those pursuing BE . Infrastructure and other things are great but again to many unwarranted restrictions are placed. like one has to leave the college library before 10 pm otherwise you have to sit there till 5 am.
also no hostel facility for ME students.
Fee is considerably higher than other institutes.
