I am writing this to warn readers against Telebrands .I ordered the item "Easy Sew" in February 2007. I found that it was a shoddy product simply not worth the Rs.2198/- I paid for it. I therefore returned it under their 15 days money back guarantee by Registered Parcel A.D. which was duly acknowledged. The 15 days money back guarantee plan is frequently mentioned in their TV advertisements and also prominently displayed in the home page of their website.
Till date I have not received the refund though almost 2 years have passed. I have written several letters by Registered Post A.D. all duly acknowledged but I have not received a single reply. When I make phone calls to them , they either do not respond or give evasive answers e.g. the returned item is not traceable, the particular item is not eligible for the guantee(though this statement is not mentioned in either their TV ads or their website.)
