I a'm currently using tata sky sd services and subscribed to dhamaal mix pack along with ten sports. The picture quality of tata sky is good but is easily looses signal due to rain. And if compared to dish tv, the charges of tata sky are higher. My current pack are dhamaal mix pack which provides 190 SD channels along with two regional packs and costs me Rs 285 per month and I have to pay Rs 60 for ten sports.
The customer service is good. I never faced any other technical issues requiring technician visit. Although once my dish's screws loosened due to which I had to call the technician who charged me Rs 200 which I think was a bit high.
Currently they are providing Rs 100 extra balance if we recharge through m-visa due to which I a'm able to save some money. But without this offer tata sky's services are a bit over priced.
A new user should compare prices of other dth providers before buying tata sky otherwise picture and sound quality of tata sky is good.
