This LED bulbs comes with a 2 year warranty. But I wonder what this really mean?
I purchased 4 numbers of syska 8W bulbs through amazon and within 2 months of usage one is not working.(not sure about how long the other 3 wll work). Now for claiming the warranty, I approached amazon first and they asked me to contact syska customer care. They asked me to send the invoice copy through email which I did on the same day. I got default acknowledgement mentioning that someone will be personally replying within 24 hours. So I waited for another 2 or 3 days. But no reply came. after 4 days I contacted them through phone and the concerned representative conveyed that it is not 24 hours but 7 days. Again I waited for another 7 days but nothing happened.
So again I contacted them asked to register another complaint regarding this poor customer service. The concerned person was she is not having the authority to register a complaint like that.later she transferred the complaint to a person who claimed herself to be the senior head of complaint section. But she was also repeating that she is not having the right to register a complaint like that( I wonder, if the senior head don, t have then who is going to listen to us)
She also mentioned that what ever information that I had from them regarding the 24hrs, 7 days are wrong information and as per their so called procedure it is 15 to 20 days.
No where is the consistancy in terms of the information they are giving.
After some time she kept the phone on hold for a couple of minutes. Then the call was transferred to another so called senior head and she started asking from the beginning. I wonder why should I again reapeat the same story?
Today I received a mail that their pick up person will come to my place to collect the defective piece from me within 7 days. But I have to pack well that defectiive piece. Again I wonder why should I waste my time and money to pack that defective piece. rather than dong that, and waiting for anothet couple of weeks, I could have bought a new LED bulb within the budget of Rs.100.
So my point is that the warranty that they are giving for an LED bulb is useless.
