Last month, I visited this amazing veg restaurant that offers a perfect combo of Gujarati and Maharashtrian thali. And honestly, I felt like I got way more than just food – it was an experience!
As soon as I entered, the interior caught my eye – it's not too flashy, but very well designed. Simple yet elegant décor, calm lighting, and enough space to feel relaxed while eating. Perfect spot for families and even solo foodies like me who enjoy authentic Indian flavors.
Now coming to the main attraction – the Thali. It’s pure value for money. You get 4 different sabjis, fresh dal and kadhi, perfectly balanced chutneys, crunchy salad, tasty dahi wada, aalu bonda, papad, steamed rice, dal khichadi, puranpoli and if it’s the season – then delicious aamras too! Everything unlimited and served with a smile.
The taste? Just one word – ZAKKAS! Every dish had that home-style touch. Nothing felt artificial or overly spicy. I could feel the richness of desi ghee in dal bati, sweetness of malpua, and the refreshing jaljeera was the cherry on top.
What really made me happy was the staff service. They kept coming with food without waiting to be called. Their hospitality was genuine. Even though the thali was unlimited, they made sure not a single plate went empty. That feeling of being taken care of while eating – it reminded me of a family function.
And yes, one small thing I noticed – the place was very clean, including the wash area. Cool filtered water was served regularly without asking.
The thali is around ₹; 360, which some may find a bit high, but honestly – every bite justifies the cost. You won’t regret it.
